Puppeteer alone suffices with no plugin enabled

Summary

A project that sets QUARRY_STEALTH=0 no longer has to install puppeteer-extra or its transitive packages. Stealth stays on by default, so a project that does not opt out runs as before.

Highlights

  • On-demand load: the executor loads puppeteer-extra only while the stealth or adblocker plugin is enabled, and otherwise launches through Puppeteer directly.
  • Optional peers: the executor marks puppeteer-extra and the stealth plugin as optional peers.
  • SDK peer removed: the SDK no longer declares puppeteer-extra, because nothing in the SDK imports it.

Upgrade Notes

  • A project that sets QUARRY_STEALTH=0 and leaves the adblocker off can remove puppeteer-extra and both plugins.

Known Limitations

  • quarry init and the container image still install puppeteer-extra and the stealth plugin, because stealth stays on by default.
