v0.6.2
Browser reuse, enqueue partition overrides, and fail-fast storage
Summary
Adds managed browser reuse to eliminate cold-start overhead in multi-run workloads, per-enqueue source/category partition overrides for heterogeneous fan-out, and fail-fast behavior for unconfigured storage writes.
Highlights
- ✨
--browser-ws-endpointflag — connect to an externally managed browser instead of launching Chromium per run, eliminating ~180× cold-start overhead (#127) - ✨ Per-enqueue
sourceandcategorypartition overrides — child runs can target different Lode partitions viaemit.enqueue({ source, category })(#129) - 🐛
storage.put()now fails fast when FileWriter is not configured instead of silently discarding data (#128) - ⏱️ Metrics persistence timeout increased from 10s to 30s to match policy flush timeout (#128)
- 👷 CI concurrency group with in-progress cancellation (#131)
- ✅ Coverage for contract-critical CLI pure functions (#126)
- ♻️ Decomposed run command into focused facade types (#123)
Breaking Changes
storage.put()now returns an error instead of silently discarding data when storage is not configured. Scripts usingstorage.put()must ensure--storage-backendand--storage-pathare set.
Upgrade Notes
- If your scripts call
storage.put()without configuring storage, they will now fail with a clear error rather than silently dropping data. Add--storage-backendand--storage-pathflags or remove thestorage.put()calls.
