v0.7.3
IPC drain deadlock fix and Lode performance upgrade
Summary
Fixes a drain deadlock caused by Object.create(process.stdout) diverging the _events map after listener cleanup, and upgrades Lode to v0.7.4 for storage performance improvements.
Highlights
- 🐛 Fix drain deadlock —
Object.create(process.stdout)caused_eventsdivergence after listener cleanup, silently breaking drain delivery and hanging the executor under backpressure; replaced with a split contract (separate stream + writeFn) (#164) - ✅ Backpressure integration test — deterministically proves the drain path is exercised by spawning a child, withholding parent reads until the pipe fills, and asserting
backpressure_events > 0(#164) - ⬆️ Lode v0.7.4 — upgraded storage library for performance improvements
- 🦺 EventEmitter discipline guardrail — AGENTS.md now bans
Object.create()on EventEmitter instances, requiring composition over prototype delegation (#164)
Upgrade Notes
- No SDK API changes. Drop-in replacement for 0.7.2.
