v2.0.0-beta.1 — Full-featured release (RAG + WebMCP)
Pre-release
Pre-release
The v2 line of Agentic Admin: the full-featured GitHub release. The WordPress.org build stays on 0.11.x; v2 adds back the features that were removed to pass the directory review.
Pre-release. Built for the WordCamp Galicia 2026 talk "The Browser is the Agent".
Restored
- In-browser knowledge base (RAG). Code, DB schema, API signatures and reference docs are chunked in PHP, embedded in the browser with Transformers.js (
all-MiniLM-L6-v2), stored in IndexedDB and searched with an exhaustive cosine scan. Brings backcodebase-index,code-searchand the four*-extractabilities. Build it under Settings → Knowledge Base. - WebMCP bridge. Every ability is exposed on
navigator.modelContextfor external agents in browsers that support it. Destructive tools require a second call with{ "confirmed": true }.
Fixed
- WebMCP calls now run through each tool's own
execute(), so browser-only abilities such ascode-searchwork over the bridge.
Kept from 0.11.x
All security and path fixes from the directory review: read-file refuses secret-bearing files, the tokenizing wp-config-list, get_home_path() handling, and the connector registry check.
Install
Upload agentic-admin.zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload. Don't run it alongside the WordPress.org build (they share function names). The local engine needs a model source set under Settings → Model source.
Notes
- The knowledge base loads Transformers.js from jsDelivr and the embedding model (~23 MB) from Hugging Face, once, on first build. Disclosed in
readme.txt. - Indexing time scales with site size: about 30 minutes for ~11k chunks on a site with WooCommerce.
