Conquer GS 1.1.2 fixes the mouse jumping when you move it fast.

  • Fixed: moving the mouse quickly made the arrow jump the wrong way, sideways and up or down. A fast movement is more than the mouse's report can hold, and MAME wraps it around into the opposite direction. The game now reads the mouse more often and undoes that, so the arrow follows even fast flicks.
  • Fixed: a quick click while the game was busy could be missed.
  • Includes 1.1.1's smoother arrow movement.

The disk holds CONQUER.SYSTEM, CONQUER.DATA, CONQUER.SOUND, CONQUER.TITLE and CONQUER.HELP. If you run the game from a folder on a hard disk, copy all five.

ConquerGS-1.1.2.po is an 800K ProDOS disk image that boots straight into the game. It needs an Apple IIgs (ROM 01 or ROM 3) with at least 1 MB of memory and a mouse, or MAME.
