Apple Music blank screens and songs stopping early

Some Apple Music albums have an animated cover: a silent video that plays as soon as the page opens. The stage mistook it for the song, so it:

  • skipped pressing Play
  • opened full-screen lyrics over nothing (a blank white screen)
  • stopped songs started by hand partway through, because the cover's clips "ended"

The stage now ignores animated covers. It also never opens lyrics or full screen while nothing is playing, and presses Play again if a song doesn't start.

YouTube "connect to devices on your local network" popup

Edge's new local-network permission prompt, triggered by YouTube looking for Cast devices, is now blocked in the stage window.

Better logs

The log now records each stage song: loading, each step, when it started, and why it ended. Web page check-ins are no longer logged one per line; they had pushed the stage entries out of the log.

Upgrading

Click EXIT in Karaoke Ticker, replace KaraokeTicker.exe with this one, and start it. Singers, saved songs, settings and stage sign-ins are kept; they live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\KaraokeTicker.
