Changes include (among other things):

  • standardize on " -- " for em dashes
  • rewording for clarity
  • make sure the word "git" is included in sample Git commands

The rationale for that last change is that this is the first chapter
that referred extensively to both the Unix "diff" command and the
Git "git diff" command, so I decided to make sure that Git command
examples explicitly started with the word "git", to avoid ambiguity.
