pdd 0.1.19

This maintenance release adds repository metrics, reusable verification guidance, workflow repairs, and the missing Screen timer instructions. Update the CLI and skills together.

  • See the issue pipeline. pdd metrics reports the saved queue, starts, implementation readiness, validation and merge evidence. Daily activity and fixed issue cohorts stay separate. Import/export combines records from participating machines without counting the same event twice. Missing records remain unknown. #3011
  • Keep a real verification recipe. The skills help each repository retain its setup, real user action, expected result, evidence and cleanup steps. A fresh verifier repeats the behavior. Local CLI and library demonstrations passed; this does not establish whole-app Pocket acceptance. #3012
  • Read saved step results. Workflow status, JSON and view show recorded PDD results. #2922
  • Publish draft PRs when requested. A run can retain draft publication for its prompt and separately approved code PRs. This does not approve code generation or bypass a workflow gate. #2544
  • Use existing tests for old-code proof. A code change can compare old and corrected behavior when the approved tests already exist and no test file changed in that PR. #2958
  • Keep test summaries honest. Data-driven declarations that static inventory cannot count show an unavailable count instead of a false zero. #2678
  • Keep warning paths intact. Automatic-commit warnings preserve the first character of each path. #2829
  • Keep nested example fixtures separate. Repository Story discovery no longer treats an example project's local Story paths as missing root dependencies. #2607
  • Document automatic Screen timers. The shipped prompting RUNBOOK explains Runtime-owned timers and links the timer contract and Snake example. Stripping scripts from rendered HTML does not disable host-scheduled ticks. Agents must preserve the requested behavior rather than infer a platform limitation from missing guidance. This documents existing Runtime support; it does not deploy Runtime or promise a particular animation speed.

The final public full suite passed 5,573/5,573 tests, with zero failures, skips, cancellations or TODOs. Install smoke and CodeQL passed. Independent reviews covered the combined source, release scope, metadata and timer guide. A private install matched all 230 package files and all nine skills; both RUNBOOK copies are identical. Fresh installs from default main also passed: the standard GitHub CLI route and all nine skills for Codex and Claude Code match the reviewed package, including the corrected timer guide. These checks establish native/client behavior and shipped files, not hosted Runtime or private reporter acceptance.

The release also carries reviewed local chat, workspace, held-notice and review-wake component changes. Normal combined startup and full unattended Autopilot completion, dependency graph delivery, account-limit recovery and whole-app Pocket acceptance remain unfinished. No clean end-to-end Autopilot count is claimed. This release does not deploy hosted Runtime.

Update both, then start a new agent chat:

npm install -g github:promptdriven/pdd
npx skills add promptdriven/pdd -g
pdd --version
