v0.219.0
v0.219.0 adds an opt-in "stay awake while serving" mode so a plugged-in hub stays reachable from paired phones, puts version and uptime on /healthz, lets the model see the screenshots it takes, and fixes mobile dropdowns closing right after a tap.
Added
- Stay awake while serving. New Runtime setting
runtime.stay_awake(off by default). When it is on, the server holds a sleep assertion for as long as it runs, separately from the hold it already takes for scheduled runs. On macOS this applies only on AC power, and closing the lid can still sleep the machine. Linux usessystemd-inhibit. Windows isn't supported.PROTOAGENT_KEEP_AWAKE=0turns it off. (#4542, #4543) /healthzreportsversionanduptime_s, in both ready and not-ready responses, so a caller without a console token can read status. (#4536)
Fixed
- Mobile dropdowns open on one tap. On touch devices,
DropdownSelectandMenuno longer close as soon as your finger lifts. This adopts the design-system fix in@protolabsai/ui/@protolabsai/ui-css0.68.5. Mouse and keyboard behaviour is unchanged. (#4540) - The model can see browser screenshots.
browser_screenshotnow attaches the saved image for vision models. It still returns the file path, and falls back to text if the attachment fails. (#4539) - The redactor no longer masks a
${VAR}reference in URL userinfo. A password that is exactly one template reference (${VAR},$VAR,{var},{{ x.y }}) is left as written, which stops false "hardcoded credential" review findings. A password that mixes a reference with literal text is still redacted. (#4547)
Docs
- How delegated and voice A2A callers get past
run_commandapproval: answering in the task, per-turn bypass, and the safe-command allowlist. (#4537) - ADR 0124: per-caller
run_commandapproval policy for A2A callers. This is a design record only; behaviour doesn't change. (#4538) - The phone-access guide has a new "Keep the computer awake" section, and the configuration reference now documents
runtime.stay_awake. (#4544)
Changed
