@pwnless pwnless released this 21 Oct 13:27

Highlights

  • Fixed shutdown ordering so traffic modes stop before proxy runtimes.
  • Improved AioDNS endpoint validation, including IPv6 and DNS-over-TLS addresses.
  • Rebuilt and tested NetchX’s in-repo AioDNS implementation with a stable CGO/MSYS2 build path.
  • Added GitHub Actions checks to build and test AioDNS from source.
  • Fixed Redirector TCP traffic counters for proxied TCP flows.
  • Reduced Filter Parent Process overhead with a safe, short-lived process decision cache.
  • Replaced per-association UDP SOCKS control threads with shared IOCP workers.
  • Modernized HTTP download code and UUID v5 SHA-1 usage.
  • Added managed, Go, and native regression coverage for the updated behavior.

@pwnless pwnless released this 26 Sep 13:29

Changelog

This release refreshes the bundled proxy runtime and release packaging.

Highlights

  • Added sing-box support for SSH, AnyTLS, Hysteria, Hysteria2, TUIC, NaiveProxy, and ShadowTLS.
  • Removed obsolete ShadowsocksR and legacy v2ray-sn runtime support.
  • Keeps Xray as the preferred runtime for Xray-supported protocols.
  • Improved release packaging: builds now produce a complete release folder and an automatically verified .7z archive, with .zip fallback when 7-Zip is unavailable.
  • Includes stability and child-process proxy handling improvements.

@pwnless pwnless released this 25 Sep 13:00

NetchX 2.0.2

This release improves SOCKS5 UDP reliability and updates the bundled runtime build flow.

Highlights

  • Fixed SOCKS5 UDP associations that could stop working after an idle control connection.
  • Added recovery when a SOCKS UDP control connection is closed by the server.
  • Added support for SOCKS5 UDP relay replies using:
    • Domain-name relay addresses
    • Wildcard relay addresses such as 0.0.0.0 or ::
  • Prevented oversized UDP payloads from producing invalid SOCKS UDP datagrams.
  • Hardened proxied DNS by rejecting SOCKS UDP replies whose encoded source does not match the configured DNS server.
  • Added native regressions for UDP association lifecycle, recovery, DNS source validation, and UDP dispatch behavior.
  • Build tooling now reuses a verified local Xray cache when available, avoiding unnecessary downloads during local builds.

v2.0.1

@pwnless pwnless released this 10 Sep 09:46

NetchX 2.0.1

This release migrates Netch to current Xray-core.

  • Bundles Xray 26.3.27 with geoip.dat and geosite.dat.
  • Adds configurable RAW, XHTTP, mKCP, gRPC, WebSocket, HTTPUpgrade, and Hysteria transports.
  • Adds TLS/REALITY fingerprint settings, REALITY keys, short ID, SpiderX, ML-DSA-65 verification, and VLESS XTLS Vision flows.
  • Keeps SSH and ShadowsocksR working through a bundled legacy SagerNet fallback only.
  • CI can download and verify the pinned Xray release when no local runtime is present.
  • Release package validation now checks both Xray and legacy compatibility binaries.

Existing tcp, kcp, and ws profiles are migrated automatically. Legacy HTTP/2, QUIC, and standalone XTLS profiles must be updated to supported XHTTP, Hysteria, or TLS/REALITY + Vision settings.
