ShenOSKernel built from Shen-Language/shen-sources commit ec16a9f, the merge of #117. This is not an official Shen-Language release. Upstream has not yet cut a release that contains this commit, and upstream does not commit klambda/, so this release provides the rendered KLambda.

It is an unmodified build: the tag upstream-ec16a9f points at upstream commit ec16a9fa4fc2e87e2aa336fb1ae30e8ac2266394 itself, and no tracked file was edited. (version) reports "43.1", as it does on upstream master.

This release supersedes the fork releases shen-43.1.1 and shen-43.1.2. Upstream merged Shen-Language#117 unchanged.

Contents

  • The kernel source and klambda/ equal 43.1.2's, apart from the version string. Every .kl file is byte-identical to the 43.1.2 release except init.kl, which has "43.1" instead of "43.1.2". In sources/, only declarations.shen differs ((set *version* "43.1")).
  • The archive has the same 473 entry paths as ShenOSKernel-43.1.2.tar.gz. Besides init.kl, declarations.shen and VERSION, three docs differ: CHANGELOG.md and doc/port-upgrades.md lack the fork's 43.1.1/43.1.2 sections, and README.md names 43.1.
  • Top-level directory: ShenOSKernel-43.1-ec16a9f/. VERSION contains 43.1-ec16a9f.
  • Kernel tests on Shen/Scheme (pyrex41/shen-scheme 839dfac, with this klambda/ swapped in): 134 passed, 0 failed.

Build

A fresh clone of Shen-Language/shen-sources, checked out at ec16a9f (detached), built with:

make fetch
make klambda
make release ReleaseVersion=43.1-ec16a9f

The build used Shen/Scheme 0.51 macOS-arm64 (shen-scheme-v0.51-macOS-arm64-bin.tar.gz, sha256 6f943219db976e83b5813ffda561409814da2e92ffdcdcdf5aa78232c44c6f23), the version the Makefile pins. ReleaseVersion is a make variable. Without it, the Makefile would name the archive after the short hash alone (ShenOSKernel-ec16a9f).
