🐛 Describe the bug

To exchange tensors with other libraries, PyTorch uses an exchange standard called dlpack. This generally works well for floating point and integer-valued tensors, but it fails when supplied with a boolean-valued tensor.

RuntimeError: Bool type is not supported by dlpack

The error message that PyTorch gives is actually untrue. Boolean arrays are perfectly well supported by DLPack, and they are represented just like bool in the C standard (a redundant 8-bit encoding that has the lowest bit either set or unset).
