first release.

- Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer): Tawreed_aarch64.dmg
- Mac with an Intel chip: Tawreed_x64.dmg

If you have Tawreed 0.0.1, download and install this version by hand, once. Tawreed's update signing key
was replaced, so 0.0.1 cannot update itself to 0.0.2. Your projects and settings stay as they are. From 0.0.2 on,
Tawreed offers each new version by itself; press Update and restart.

Tawreed for Mac, on Apple silicon and on Intel. The Mac app is not signed with an Apple developer
certificate yet, so macOS asks you to confirm it the first time:- Open the
.dmgand drag Tawreed to Applications. Open it from Applications, not from the.dmg. - macOS says it cannot verify Tawreed. Click Done, then open System Settings, Privacy & Security,
scroll down to the message about Tawreed and click Open Anyway. Confirm with your password. - If you do not see that button, run this once in Terminal, then open Tawreed again:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Tawreed.app
You only do this the first time. Before you do, you can compare the file's checksum with
SHA256SUMS.txt
(shasum -a 256 Tawreed_aarch64.dmg). - Open the

Tawreed 0.0.1
The first public release of Tawreed: drop your bills of quantities, and Tawreed turns them into procurement
packages, with a master workbook and one workbook per package.

What's in it
- Reads Excel, CSV, ODS, PDF and scanned pages, in English, Arabic or both, with no template to follow.
- Proposes the packages, places every item in exactly one package, and shows you every item it is unsure of.
- You approve at four points: overlapping files, the package plan, uncertain items and the final workbooks.
- Codes, descriptions, units, quantities and rates reach the workbooks exactly as in your BOQ, and every number
links back to its cell or page. - Works with your own AI key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI or an OpenAI-compatible service) or a ChatGPT
subscription through the official Codex app. A project's content goes to that service only after you agree. - Your files and workbooks stay on your PC, in
~/.tawreed. - English and Arabic, right to left.
- Updates itself: when a new version is out, Tawreed offers it, and installs it only when you press
Update and restart.
