Fixes from an independent code review of 0.6.0.

Fixed

  • build no longer recurses forever, or crashes, when contents lists the
directory itself (path: .) or a symlink loop, or when a symlink points
back up the tree. A source never appears as its own sub-source.
  • build refuses a site/ that is a symlink to the archive, even with
--force; it used to overwrite the archive's own README.
  • One malformed link in a README (such as http://[) no longer stops the
whole build; the link is dropped and the text kept.
  • A bare <embed> in a README no longer hides everything after it.
  • Frontmatter with a YAML set, a binary value, a date used as a key, or
keys of mixed types no longer crashes build or query --json. Every key
becomes the string JSON would use.
  • check, query, and build no longer crash on a README, or a
subdirectory, behind a symlink into a directory they may not search.
  • query --table no longer crashes, or styles text, when the path contains
    Rich markup such as [/bold].
  • A short file ending in a cut-off UTF-8 character now counts as binary and
    is warned about.

Changed

  • File entries in contents are now purely informational, as documented: a
contents that names no directory leaves sub-source discovery automatic.
Before, listing only files hid every subdirectory from the site. A
directory entry that is skipped (the directory itself, or a path outside
it) still makes the list curated.
