R studio keeps crashing

I wnat to study with sf library. After I run to call the libarary R studio keeps crashing with fatal R and starting a new session. I could not solve the problem. tried to remove and install the packaga again and also R studio.

Which platform? What is the output of sessionInfo()? What happens if you run in plain R, without Rstudio? Have you tried installing sf from source?

• plain R also gave the same reaction program keeps crashing.

• installing from source yielded this message.

I have found the solution of the problem. I configured an R profile to personelize encoding and other options while ago. I had problem with Turkish characters and applied to this profile to my both computers.

Our newly ai helper chat gpt suggests few solutions to the problem and reminds me that profile . I did try many options before such as yours uninstalling then installing package again, from source as well, older version of the package and R or R studio. No nothing worked.
I reset the profile and back to basics then voila.
Now, the package is running smoohtly.

May be it was like encoding incompatibility or broken R profile related problem.
