The PR rails#8756 uses Sprockets for resolving files that already exists on disk, for those files their extensions don't need to be rewritten. Fixes rails#9803

Hi @rafaelfranca - changelog has been added. I just took a look at sprockets-rails and afaik it's unaffected. |
