Objet: Re: [raomin/ESPAltherma] ESPAltherma v2 and Dashboard drawing for bi-zone units (direct zone + mixed zone with mixing valve) (Discussion #602)
Salut @pvodoz!
Yes, it should be doable. Your definition already has the values of the second zone, they're just not selected by default: `Mixed water temp.` (R7T, the mixed zone outlet), `Main pump / Add pump`, and `LW setpoint (main)` / (add). Could you select them in the Values tab and tell me what they read while both zones are heating, or paste the Diagnostics → Heat pump survey?
Then I'll see how to draw the two zones: the direct one straight after the heat pump, and the mixed one with its valve and R7T.

Thanks @pvodoz, exactly what I needed! Your readings confirm the layout: R7T (mixed water) at 17.9°, both pumps on, 27.4° target on both zones. |
|
Hi @raomin What do you think about the last proposed drawing for bi zone? |
|
Salut @pvodoz, sorry for the wait! You were right about the end of the zones: each zone now goes back to the indoor unit on its own return. Here's a proposal based on your drawings:
I kept the Daikin part names (M1S, M3S, B1PW…) out of the drawing so it stays readable for everyone. What do you think? If it looks right to you, it goes in the next beta and in the Home Assistant card. |
|
@raomin , I noticed some diplay bugs for wrong colored piped in mono and bi zone. |
|
can someone point me at the HACS card setup please. |
|
You need first HACS, then follow here on Readme of ESPAltherma card. Let me know if you're struggling. |

Hi @raomin and thanks for ESPAltherma 2. The new web interface and the installation drawing are great.
I'm from France and my unit is an EHVZ04S18DA6V (ERGA04DAV3 + EHVZ, definition ERGA D EHV-EHB-EHVZ DA series 04-08kW). It is a bi-zone integrated indoor unit. According to the Daikin installer reference guide (piping diagram 3D112187A, doc 4P495249-1A), after the space heating / DHW 3-way valve (M3S) the water splits into two zones.
Is it possible to deal with?
