• The balance is now polled every 5 minutes while the page is visible (the balanceinfo program's own cadence), paused while the window is hidden and refreshed once when it returns: that figure is measured from the first balance each local day samples, so the cadence is its resolution — a page left open across midnight takes the new day's baseline within one interval, and a mid-day top-up surfaces within one too. by @rayadesune
