yesh v0.2.2
yesh v0.2.2 is out!
What is in this release
- experimental OpenRC service observation on Alpine, including the
reported platform, supervisor, cgroup, processes, and finite JSONL
resource history; - an explicit Bash comparison baseline for the incremental rsync case;
- a Linux/amd64 binary.
yesh v0.2.0
yesh v0.2.0 is out!
yesh is a readable language for Linux automation and preflight checks:
external commands stay visible, while checks, ordering, failure handling, and
postconditions become easier to review.
What is in this release
- guarded backup and restore workflows around
rsyncandrsnapshot; - staged configuration publication with bounded systemd and journal checks;
- finite, read-only service and cgroup resource observation;
--plan, locking, rerun, failure, and recovery scenarios;- a Linux/amd64 binary.
The language tutorial is available online in the repository in English and Russian, together with practical examples and technical notes.
Scope
yesh orchestrates rsync, rsnapshot, SSH, systemd, and other Linux tools; it does not replace them. Resource observation is read-only and Linux-specific. This is an early-stage release for reviewable operational scripts, not a production safety boundary or a general monitoring system.
The release was checked by the repository's full Go test suite, go vet, Linux CI, and the Linux/amd64 release build using the Go 1.21
baseline.
yesh v0.1.0
yesh v0.1.0 is out!
First public development [pre-]release of yesh for Linux amd64.
Uses a practical Go 1.21 baseline instead of requiring the newest toolchain.
