Cardano Game Development SDK for Unity v1.0.0

Free, open-source toolkit for adding the Cardano blockchain to Unity WebGL games. Funded by Cardano Project Catalyst (Fund 12).

Unity Asset Store: submitted for review on 2026-10-27 as Cardano Game Development SDK for Unity (https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/slug/422888). This GitHub release is the official download until the store listing is live.

Downloads

  • CardanoSDK_v1.0.0.unitypackage: the complete SDK. Import with Assets > Import Package > Custom Package.... Includes the MeshJS bundle used by Minting and Awarding.
  • CardanoSDK_Documentation.md: full documentation (also inside the package at Assets/CardanoSDK/Documentation/).
  • cardano-mint-sdk.bundle.js and cardano-mint-sdk.bundle.LICENSES.txt: the unmodified MeshJS bundle and its third-party license list. Only needed if you use the Asset Store version and want to self-host the bundle (documentation section 9.4). WebGL builds otherwise load this exact file from jsDelivr, pinned to this tag with Subresource Integrity.

Features

  • Blockfrost and Koios integration (accounts, addresses, assets, transactions)
  • CIP-30 browser wallet connection and balance display for WebGL
  • 2 WebGL templates: CardanoBasic and CardanoResponsive (mobile-first)
  • 3 dApp samples: NFT-gated access, token minting (CIP-25 NFTs and fungible tokens), and token awarding from a treasury wallet, with optional fee sponsorship
  • Five demo scenes, prefabs and editor tools (setup checker, wallet setup window, demo scene builders)

Requirements

Unity 2022.3 LTS or newer with WebGL Build Support; uGUI, TextMeshPro and Newtonsoft Json (installed automatically). Built-in Render Pipeline.

Security

Anything in a WebGL build is public, including the minting/treasury wallet used by the client-side demos. Use dedicated wallets holding small amounts (ideally on testnet), and move signing to your own server for real value. See the Security section of the documentation.
