DV Cut 0.3.0

DV Cut is now available as a standalone open-source project from rewindDV.

Download DV-Cut-0.3.0.zip, extract it, and open DV Cut.html in a modern browser. All media stays on your computer; no runtime server, installation or account is required.

• Lossless frame-range cuts and automatic NTSC/PAL format splitting.
• Optional recording-metadata scene suggestions, unchecked until selected.
• Segment thumbnails, range endpoint previews and frame/clip metadata inspection.
• SHA-256 receipts, ZIP export and saved-copy verification.

DV Cut source is Apache-2.0. The separately licensed FFmpeg/libav.js preview decoder includes its notices and corresponding source archives in the ZIP and repository.

Early-release limits: DVCPRO and HDV support are experimental. HDV/MPEG transport spans are copied whole; internal GOP trimming is not enabled. Windows UI and real HDV/DVCPRO camera-media validation remain pending. Thumbnails are navigation aids. The focused suite passes 33 tests using generated media and independent hash/ZIP/decoder checks.
