Pages and search

  • Choose a schema-defined template when creating a page, with templates grouped by category and the current category selected by default.
  • Filter Pages by category, including uncategorized Core pages, and search by title, slug or category. Returning from an editor preserves the list context; selecting Pages in the sidebar resets its filters.
  • Search article collections as you type by title, effective slug, description or tags. Queries stay separate for each collection and reset when reopening it from the sidebar.
  • Configure global search across all content languages or only the current language with search.scope. Editors can override the default in Settings. Results show language badges, and opening another language's result uses the existing unsaved-change guard.
  • Search media by filename, title, description and alternative text.

Editing

  • Use the article block editor for compatible schema Markdown fields directly in prepared page previews, with floating formatting controls and an Edit rich text shortcut in Properties.
  • Preserve website layout and typography during inline Markdown editing. Markdown that cannot round-trip safely through the block editor keeps the existing Markdown editing fallback.
  • Keep selected Markdown fields in Properties with sidebarOnly: true. Properties starts closed in inline editing mode.
  • Keep article and Markdown formatting toolbars visible beneath the Properties tabs while scrolling, with consistent spacing between field groups.
  • Truncate long section labels so sidebar controls remain accessible.
  • Fix Markdown output for formatted text with surrounding whitespace, hard line breaks, table-cell breaks and text that resembles list syntax.
  • Group appearance, accessibility and interface language under Interface settings, and editing experience and search scope under Content settings. Add translations for the new controls in every bundled interface language.

Documentation

  • Ship the full documentation directory with the npm package and link it from the README.
  • Add guides for installation, content modeling, authors, media, menus, SEO, sidebar configuration, previews, preview hosts and GitHub authentication, drafts and publishing.
  • Update content-language and extension guides and document the new search, page-template and inline-editing behavior.

No dependency or peer-dependency ranges changed since 1.3.0.
