Dynamics in mastering, three new controls (strength 0–10):
AI harshness — a dynamic EQ at 3 kHz. It only turns the band down when it gets harsh and leaves the
rest of the track untouched — aimed at the brittle top end AI music tends to have.
De-esser — tames sibilance around 7 kHz in the same way.
Compressor — a gentle 2:1 glue compressor with a soft knee for the whole mix.
Under each control the app shows how much it actually works on the current track (average and deepest
reduction). Thresholds follow the loudness target, so the same strength behaves alike on every track. Loudness
the dynamics take away is measured and given back afterwards, so “Auto” still lands on the target.
The starting curves (Foundation & air, melodic techno, trance, deep house, vocal pop) now include moderate
dynamics; presets save and restore the three controls.
Changed
The browser preview computes the dynamics sample by sample with exactly the compressor the export on your
computer uses — measured identical to it, within 0.05 dB over the whole track.
Fades are now calculated per sample, exactly like the export.
