Move staged OTA update checks to a lightweight ota-manifest.json asset attached to the latest GitHub release.
Keep board-specific OTA downloads on the GitHub release assets while reducing pre-reboot update metadata fetch size.
Add release packaging support for ota-manifest.json and document the updated staged OTA manifest contract.
Notes
OTA discovery is a breaking change in this release.
Devices running older firmware that still query the legacy GitHub release JSON endpoint will not auto-update into v1.4.0.
To migrate once, install v1.4.0 manually using the web UI OTA upload or over USB serial. After that, staged OTA resumes normally with the new manifest-based flow.
