FlipIt 1.2.0 converts documents, images and audio on your device, with no account or file uploads.
New in this release
- PDF tools on Windows and Android: merge, split, extract, remove and rotate pages; compress PDFs; save pages as pictures; add page numbers and watermarks.
- Make scanned PDFs searchable so recognised English text can be searched and copied.
- Draw a signature or choose its picture and place it on a PDF page. This is a visual mark, not a certified digital signature.
- Android: combine several camera scans into one PDF with four-corner adjustment for each page.
- Picture size choices show measured output sizes; scanning and size measurement have performance improvements.
- Android: corrected mono audio encoding.
Downloads
- FlipItSetup.exe: Windows 10/11, 64-bit. The installer is unsigned; Windows may show SmartScreen.
- FlipIt.apk: Android 8.0 or later, signed with the existing FlipIt release identity.
- SHA256SUMS.txt: checksums for the release files.
Windows supports batches of the same file type. Android conversion remains one file at a time. OCR can make mistakes, and document layout can change; check important results against the original. Compression savings depend on the PDF.
Library notices
The platform notices and third-party-materials-v1.2.0.zip provide the required materials for bundled libraries. Their source materials are unchanged from 1.1.0. GitHub's automatic Source code downloads contain the public website files.
