• Codex plugin hooks failed before execution. First-use dependency installation wrote Bun's executable and workspace symlinks into the plugin cache. Codex rejected them while fingerprinting the plugin (unsupported plugin entry type: .../node_modules/.bin/esbuild). Codex launchers now install and execute a source copy under the plugin's writable data directory, keeping dependencies outside the cached package. The Codex dependency install also skips Claude's global hook wiring.
