Feature gate: #![feature(convert_absurd)]

This is a tracking issue for core::convert::absurd function, which turns ! into any type.

Public API

// core::convert

pub const fn absurd<T>(x: !) -> T;

Steps / History

Unresolved Questions

  • How best to document the function (how to deal with mentions of fallback)?
