Took me a second to understand what's going on, but for anyone reading along:
The collect function used to load in the aliases/source-files/search-index file looks specifically for key["crate-name"], with double-quotes around crate-name. The search index generation uses the as_json function from rustc-serialize to write the name in, which uses double-quotes for strings. However, these two were written manually, and their use of single-quotes meant that the collect function didn't know to skip the crate's own entry.
