The website did not recognize the platform I'm on, so I am unable to install rustup.

Please provide the values of navigator.platform and appVersion as mentioned in the issue template.

You should be able to display them in the console of the developer tools.
Hit Ctrl + Shift + I or F12, go to the "Console" tab, copy-paste navigator.platform and hit enter. You might get a warning about copy-pasting untrusted code. Also do the same with navigator.appVersion and provide the return values.
