CliDeck 2.5.0
More useful history, optional session archives, and a bunch of small fixes that make CliDeck nicer to use.
- Added an optional JSONL archive. Pick a folder in Settings to save session activity by project, session and day, including the tool calls/results and thinking records Claude Code and Codex make available. It starts when enabled; it does not import old conversations or expose hidden reasoning.
- Added search across the full saved conversation, with highlighted matches. New-message notices let you jump to the latest without losing your place.
- Added an X to dismiss an agent’s question without choosing an answer.
- Fixed Codex showing idle while an automatic continuation is still working, and corrected default provider icons for custom commands.
- Added document-tab actions to copy the file path, close a tab, close tabs to the right, or close all document tabs. Terminal stays open.
- Added matching icons to the terminal right-click menu.
- Limited recent emojis to five and removed horizontal scrolling from the picker. Common emojis now display at the correct width; heart, warning and combined emoji still have known limitations.
- Added clipboard file/image uploads while preserving text paste, and fixed WebSocket connections when using HTTPS.
Update with npm install -g clideck@2.5.0, then restart CliDeck when you are ready and refresh the browser.
Checked on Node 22: 367 backend tests, all 66 public UI suites, and a fresh package install covering the new features.
