So far testing with those files/folders has not restored my previous setup |

macOS (NSUserDefaults) will cache the values from that plist, so you'll have to do something like If you happen to have checked the box for syncing over iCloud at some point in the General tab of the settings window, then you can check that box again to pull it from iCloud. Hookshot was the original name of Rectangle Pro. |

Legend! Thank you very much I will have a play ASAP. Aff. EDIT: I accidentally overwrote my iCloud synced config. Hence the digging through a backup 😢 |

Hi @rxhanson! I got this to restore - thank you so much! There was a slight snafu in that because iCloud Sync was turned on, Rectangle Pro was identifying the iCloud version as the most up-to-date and so would overwrite my restored copy. However I have a workaround. For those looking for a process: Cleaning and restoring
Stopping iCloud sync from overwriting when you first launch
Re-enabling your iCloud sync and making your local copy the authoritative version
Futureproofing
Profit
After doing these steps on my Mac Studio I launched Rectangle Pro on my MacBook pro and everything synced over. |
Uh oh!

Hi! I accidentally borked my setup and want to restore from a backup from yesterday - what files do I need to restore?
I've found:
Any others?
Thanks,
Daniel.
Edit: Yes I am a rectangle pro user - and there's a lot of Hookshot mentioning - but this is what I have found.
Edit 2: Tested Process Below
