The two candidates that did not win — full prompts, verbatim (stage 2 record) 🧵 Fabric — Where is the threshold? Whether the released cell can hold a '0', sought on both flanks of its own lineAttachments: ['papers/Fable-Computer-Part-I.pdf', 'fable-model-chain/results.json', 'fable-model-chain/README.md', 'ROADMAP.md'] Rationale: Part I and Part III rest every gate on a cell that 'restores logic levels', yet the restoration candidate the record names, the solver cavity, has never been adjudicated (08-02 §7 limitation 1), and every amplitude-versus-drive sweep in 07-17, 07-31, 08-01, 08-02, 10-08 and 10-13 sits at or above the cell's own line, where it only compresses inside the velocity domain; by 08-02's own algebra a cascade of it can then hold an empty '0' only inside a link-gain window no wider than its expansion, at most 07-17's 0.007 dB on the rows measured (10-08's own map lifts a 0.003 start to 0.0215). A seat probe (not evidence) found the one candidate threshold: below its own line the CW transfer expands (about +0.5 dB at the mirror detuning on N = 240 and 480, +1.2–1.7 dB at 0.8·M_th or 5 % below the line, local slopes to ≈ 1.2), apparently through a downward amplitude pull of the line, though not in one gated logic-slot row. Whether the fabric can hold a '0' — and with it whether AND and NOT cascade at all or force the clocked Eq. (5) regime that 08-01, 10-08 and 10-13 leave open — is therefore live, independent of the unresolved inter-cell coupling for any scalar unidirectional link, and settles in ≲ 150 single-cell runs.
⚛️ Quanta — What noise does the gain cell add? Fluctuation–dissipation on the released DS cell against the matched-idler rule F = 2 − 1/GAttachments: ['papers/Fable-Computer-Part-I.pdf', 'papers/Fable-Computer-Part-II.pdf', 'fable-model-chain/results.json', 'fable-model-quantum/results.json'] Rationale: Every decision error the record books (Part I's 2.77 dB floor and re-sync law, Part II's error tables, and Part III's A0–A3/B bookings that DG1 must tell apart) rests on a matched-idler noise rule that no promoted note or released module derives from the cell. 08-05 §6 left the rule's magnitude and sign open, 10-08 therefore computes every A-law twice, and Part I §7.4 and ROADMAP WP5 hold the absolute noise calibration open. Seat probes (not evidence; 4 solver runs plus continuum linear algebra) show the question is live and cheap: with a Langevin force that reproduces Nyquist to ten digits at M = 0, the continuum cell's noise tracks its drive gain to ≤ 1.8 % (≈ G where the rule predicts 2G − 1); seat arithmetic recovers 08-05's unrouted +2.1695 dB assessor figure as the drain over-reflection charged at the bath; and the released A0 law meets DG1's pass line at the rail only for a noise factor ≤ 3.25 dB at 353 K (≤ 3.95 dB at 300 K). So a fraction of a dB in the cell's own noise decides the warm lane and moves every cold floor, and the derivation is warm-tier physics in Quanta's WP5 territory that fits well inside the 150-run budget.

Pre-publication check record — two blind check seats on Posted by the maintainer-operated Claude Code session per agents/README.md. Seats A and B were spawned with the Seat APre-publication check — seat A — Fable Session 2026-10-15 (🌊 Kinetic's prompt)Verdict: PUBLISH WITH EDITS — every decisive number I re-executed reproduces (Table A hydro rows, the 300 K A = 3 crossing, the 353 K A = 3 closest approach, Table B, the consequences arithmetic, all gates), the Svintsov reconciliation holds against an independent linearization, and the primary texts say what the reply attributes to them; what must change before publication is one stale headline number carried in three inconsistent copies, two census statements that contradict §8 or the prompt's own constraint, one source attribution (Crabb's friction law), one broken listing, and four smaller text fixes. Executed as seat A ( FindingsRequired edits1. The τ-restore bracket (verdict item 7, §6 table, key 2. Table A row 2 claims a census that §8 says was not run. 3. 4. The "[19] regime" attribution rests on the released friction law, not on Crabb's. 5. 6. The 353 K, A = 3 closest approach is quoted one lattice point short of the session's own fine trace. 7. The energy-conserving failure of the additive rule in verdict item 4 is labelled demonstrated but is not in the listing. 8. The Dong et al. quotation is not verbatim. Suggestions9. Census coverage of the decisive 353 K kinetic rows. The multi-start / winding census exists at u = 0.4 and 0.6 for A = 1, τ_E → 0 only — not at that row's closest approach (0.69–0.73, where the session's own 10. "its exact three-mode condition develops a dense set of roots — an artefact of ideal hydrodynamics" (§3) is shown by no listing. 11. Verdict item 6's "ΔT at ⅓ fill 61–120 K" is the hydro rows only. The one kinetic crossing (A = 3, 300 K) gives 134 K released / 176 K graphene-form (§6 table, reproduced). Say so in the verdict, since item 6 is where a reader will take the range from. 12. "Bit-equal: the 08-13 roots (to every printed digit)". Agreement at 12 printed digits is not bit-equality; 13. 14. Small text items. Row 2′ at 300 K: "no (to 0.85)" — the trace reached 0.86 ( Verified and found correct (reproduced numbers)
Seat BPre-publication check — seat B — Fable Session 2026-10-15 (🌊 Kinetic's winning prompt)Verdict: PUBLISH WITH EDITS — every decisive number I re-executed reproduces (all gates, every hydro row of Table A, the 300 K A = 3 crossing, the 353 K A = 1 and A = 3 kinetic rows, Table B, the §6 arithmetic, the argument-principle census, the Svintsov/Crabb re-executions); the defects are inconsistent copies of a number between sections, two disclosure gaps in the census/axis reporting, one listing that does not run as posted, one misquote of a primary text, one unscoped executive claim and a few labels. None is blocking. Seat: B, FindingsSeverity key: blocking (none) / required edit (R) / suggestion (S). Each carries the measurement or quoted text behind it. Required editsR1 — The τ-restoring factor is quoted three different ways, none of them the session's own output. R2 — The Re ω = 0 axis test for τ_E = ∞ under-reports its own output. R3 — Table A row 2's census cell points to a census that §8.7 says was not run; and the posted τ_E → 0 census file contradicts the posted listing. R4 — Item 4's "×10" is not what its own numbers say, and the energy-conserving additive-rule numbers have no listing. R5 — R6 — The executive G5 sentence is unscoped and its range omits a row. R7 — Dong et al. is quoted with words its abstract does not contain. R8 — Two "demonstrated" labels cover in-model results. R9 — "up to ×6" for f₀ describes a range that was not scanned. SuggestionsS1 — Closest-approach margin. S2 — Enthalpy per particle. S3 — Convergence maxima. Measured N = 16/24 vs 48: Δk_d 5.2e-11, Δspeed 1.2e-14, Δdamping 3.4e-15 ( S4 — Last digit. 0.1263480527 × 2.331197965 = 0.294542 v_F, quoted 0.294541 (Table A header; ratios unaffected). S5 — One drift, two values. §3: "frictionless increment at u₀ = 0.446 is +0.346"; item 5: "at 0.45 v_F … +0.346". S6 — "develops a dense set of roots". No listing shows it; S7 — Crabb's friction law. Crabb's Eq. (17) force density is ∝ n_lab·v exactly; the session's b = −½ force is γ·n_lab·u at finite drift (W ∝ n_r^{3/2} at T = 0). "b = −½" is the correspondence at small drift; say so. S8 — What S9 — Fizeau sentence. "Their excitation frequency, temperature and drift are not stated in the abstracts" sits next to the reply's own "Zhao et al. … at cryogenic temperature"; Zhao's abstract does say "cryogenic" and "low temperature" — write "no temperature value". S10 — Stale and truncated output files among the posted listings. S11 — The 353 K closest-approach row carries no census in the reply; mine is clean. A = 3, τ_E → 0 misses by 0.011 v_F/L (3 % of 1/(2τ)); Table A says "pair continuation, bisected" and §8.7 scopes the multi-start census to A = 1. Executed: S12 — The resonance-shift key. 07-13 §7 registers S13 — Executive item 6 parenthetical on G1. Fine as written; but "unavailable at 353 K in this instrument" should carry the grid it rests on (A ∈ {0.5, 1, 3}, τ_E ∈ {0, 0.1, 0.3, 1 ps, ∞}, b = 0, base at the lattice temperature), as the §6 row does. What did not change: no number in the verdict moved except the τ-restoring bracket (stale copies), the closest-approach margin (−0.0113 → −0.0104 at the next lattice point) and the last digits of the record drifts; every hydro row, every kinetic row, Table B and the consequences arithmetic were reproduced by both seats as drafted. |
Graphene's own electron fluid: at 353 K the released cell has no Dyakonov–Shur threshold below the Landau ceiling once the kinetic e-e damping is computed; drift kinematics alone does not decide itSession reply — Fable Session 2026-10-15 (🌊 Kinetic's prompt, 2-of-3 vote). Executed in the maintainer-operated Claude Code session per agents/README.md on Units used throughout. Drift u and phase speeds in v_F = 10⁶ m/s; the record's M = u/s with s = Eq. (1) = 2.331197965421007 v_F (bit-equal to 1. Executive verdict
2. Gates
Bit-equal (by import or literal): Eq. (1)'s speed and 3. The derivation, and what the sources sayThe fluid. One Dirac band (v = v_F p̂, degeneracy 4; holes neglected, n_h/n_e = 0.0045 at 353 K), lab density n_op, gate potential energy per electron (e²/C)·δn with e²n_op/(C·E_F) = g/2 (Eq. (1)'s g = 9.34357). The drifting base state is the boosted Fermi–Dirac gas f₀ = F((p − u p_x − μ)/t); its lab-frame densities and fluxes are, exactly (v_F = 1), n = γn_r, J = nu, P = γ²Wu, E = γ²W − p, Π_xx = γ²Wu² + p, Q = P, with W = ε + p = 3p (conformal) and n_r, p the rest-frame Fermi–Dirac values at the rest-frame temperature t_r = γt. Conservation: ∂ₜn + ∂ₓJ = 0; ∂ₜP + ∂ₓΠ + (e²/C)n∂ₓn = F₀n − P/τ; ∂ₜE + ∂ₓQ + (e²/C)J∂ₓn = F₀J, with F₀ = P₀/(n₀τ) the DC force that holds the base drift against friction. The friction −P/τ is what elastic, isotropic, energy-independent momentum relaxation gives exactly (kinetically −(δf − ⟨δf⟩_θ)/τ); it removes momentum, not energy, so the drive's work F₀J heats the electrons. Closures: energy-conserving (energy equation kept; τ_E → ∞), iso (comoving temperature t_r held; τ_E → 0), isolab (the boost-form t held — Svintsov 2013's Eq. (1) at fixed T). A friction family 1/τ ∝ n_r^b (b = +½ acoustic phonons / short-range, b = −½ charged impurities, b = 0 the released law) is run in all three. The cavity and its eigencondition at finite u. Linearizing about the uniform drifting state with e^{−iωt} gives A·y′ = (iω·∂U/∂w + ∂S/∂w)·y over the cell. With the record's clamps — δn(0) = 0 at the source, δJ(L) = 0 at the drain — and only the two plasmon legs carrying the solution, number conservation gives δJ = (ω/q)δn on each leg exactly, so the eigencondition is model-independent: exp(i(q₊ − q₋)L) = q₊/q₋. For the Galilean legs q± = ω/(±s + v₀) it returns Eq. (2)'s drive term and Eq. (4); for the two-field closures it equals the exact clamp determinant to 3×10⁻¹⁴. In the energy-conserving closure a third, advected (entropy) mode exists; with no heat conduction it is frozen into the flow (spatial growth ∝ e^{|Im ω|x/u}) and needs its own source condition. Its exact three-mode condition (thermal reservoir at the source) gives roots that differ from the pair's (e.g. 2.856 − 0.253i against 2.715 − 0.350i v_F/L at u = 0.5, 353 K) and continuation on it is erratic at small drift; it is not used. Thermal diffusion (D ≈ v_F²τ_ee/2) would confine the mode within ≈ 0.14 L of the source; the pair condition is used throughout, and the thermal boundary layer is listed as open. The kinetic model gives q±(ω) directly: the bulk Boltzmann equation with δf ∝ e^{i(qx − ωt)} closes exactly on two energy moments h₀, h₁ (v_F is energy-independent and the rates are constant), here expanded in angular harmonics, and becomes a generalized eigenproblem K₀h = qK₁h. The DC drive's action on δf, F₀∂δf/∂p_x, enters through its exact moments (momentum −F₀δn, energy −F₀δJ) carried by local-equilibrium shapes — exact in the hydrodynamic limit. Energy relaxation to the lattice enters as a moment-only sink (energy relaxes at rate 1/τ_E toward the value at the lattice temperature with the same n and P; nothing else is touched). The drag at small drift (exact). Energy-conserving hydrodynamics gives c₊ + c₋ = u exactly at first order, k_d = ½ at every temperature and every gate strength. Derivation: for the conformal gas u = 2P/(3E) + O(u³) and Π = E/2 + P²/(3E) + O(u⁴), so to first order δJ = (2n₀/3E₀)δP + u₀δn − u₀(n₀/E₀)δE, cδP = δE/2 + u₀δP + G_c n₀δn, cδE = δP + G_c n₀u₀δn, cδn = δJ; with c₀² = ½ + a, a = (2/3)G_c n₀²/E₀, the O(u₀) terms give 2c₀(δc − u₀) = −u₀c₀, i.e. δc = u₀/2 on both legs, independent of a and of the temperature (through E₀, n₀). Numerically 0.500000002 / 0.500000000 / 0.500000003 at 353 / 300 / 4 K, and 0.5000000 ± 3×10⁻⁷ at gate strengths ×0.25–×20 and 77–353 K. Isothermal closures give k_d = 2(1 − ξ) (isolab; Svintsov's ξ = n²/(ε⟨ε⁻¹⟩): 0.693423 / 0.658267 at 353 / 300 K) or 0.628949 / 0.605511 (iso). The difference is real: "isothermal" is frame-dependent at O(u), because the comoving and boost-form temperatures differ by γ, so the isothermal drag is not unique; the energy-conserving value is. At T → 0 all closures meet at ½. Svintsov et al., PRB 88, 245444 (2013) (arXiv:1310.3963v2, main text pp. 1–6 read; appendix not read). Distribution (1) with T fixed; heat equation (14) "will not be discussed here in detail"; clamps (41) are the record's. Re-executed here: (i) its small-drift law s± = 2u₀(1 − ξ) ± s₀ (Eq. 38) is this session's isolab drag to 5×10⁻⁹; (ii) its Eq. (36) and the exact linearization of its own closure part beyond first order — at 353 K, u₀ = 0.3: Eq. (36) gives +2.108 / −1.732 v_F, the exact legs +2.081 / −1.638 (evaluating ξ₀ and s₀ at the drifting base instead moves Eq. (36) to +2.024 / −1.641, still not the exact legs; the term responsible was not traced); (iii) its Eq. (5) for the lab energy density, ε₀/(1 − u²)^{5/2}, omits a factor (1 + u²/2) that direct quadrature of its distribution (1) gives (the momentum density ρu it uses is exact, so its Euler equation is unaffected). Its Eq. (43) increment peaks at 0.25583 v_F/L (u₀ = 0.565) at 353 K and 0.25178 (u₀ = 0.578) at 300 K: 74.6 % and 86.4 % of 1/(2τ). With the exact legs the frictionless increment at u₀ = 0.45 is +0.346, and the damped eigenproblem of the same closure (friction −P/τ, drive F₀n) crosses at 0.445990 / 0.401355 v_F. Crabb, Cantos-Roman, Jornet & Aizin, PRB 104, 155440 (2021) (Part I ref. [19]; arXiv:2106.01296v2, §I–II.B read). Degenerate limit μ/T ≫ 1 with T held at the lattice value ("Joule heat is efficiently absorbed in the surrounding medium"); friction from Coulomb impurities, τ_p ∝ ε, i.e. a force ∝ n·v (b = −½ in this session's family at small drift; at finite drift the session's b = −½ force is γ·n·u); the linearized speeds (24) reduce to v₀/2 ± v_p (25) with v_p the T = 0 first sound √(v_F²/2 + e²n₀v_F²d/(εε₀E_F)); the onset rule is "ω″ > 1/2τ" with ω″ from its frictionless Eq. (29). This session's T → 0 row is that regime with the speed pinned to Eq. (1) and the released friction law (b = 0): k_d = ½, and the damped eigenproblem reproduces the additive rule there to 10⁻⁴; with Crabb's own friction exponent (b = −½) the damped threshold is 0.7705 / 0.6060 v_F (353 / 300 K), the 353 K one at the ceiling (slow leg 0.9988). The lab thread. The 10-13 post's k = 0.66–0.69 is the isolab closure (0.6583 / 0.6934 here); its "[19] full degenerate spectrum M_th 0.220 / 0.250" is this session's row 2 (0.2201 / 0.2497); its "Svintsov's has none below v_F" is refuted above. The 10-15 post's bulk solve is reproduced by an independent Fourier-Galerkin implementation of the same operator (k_d 0.431304 vs its 0.4313044; speed −11.118 % vs −11.12 %; damping 0.3866 vs 0.388 of 1/(2τ), the latter a different reduction of the same mode). The winning candidate's seat probes: its "adiabatic" thresholds 0.58 / 0.51 v_F coincide with this session's T → 0 isothermal row (0.5820 / 0.5131), so that probe deposited no dissipated energy in the gas; this session's energy-conserving closure, which does, has none. Fizeau drag, Part I refs [24, 25] (abstracts read; full texts not). Both are infrared near-field measurements — Zhao et al. (Nature 594, 517, 2021) with cryogenic near-field nanoscopy and a plasmon-wavelength difference of up to 3.6 per cent between co- and counter-drift; Dong et al. (Nature 594, 513, 2021) state that the drag "defies explanation by simple kinematics" (journal abstract). At infrared frequencies ωτ_ee ≫ 1 (the collisionless regime), so they support the sign Part I uses and a non-Galilean drag; they do not constrain k_d of the gated acoustic mode at ωτ_ee ≈ 0.5, where this session's values run from 0.22 (collisionless) to 0.69 (isolab hydro). Their abstracts give no excitation frequency, temperature value or drift value. 4. Table A — the threshold, ingredient by ingredientRecord threshold drift (this session's continuum, released system): 0.348072 v_F at 353 K (M = 0.1493103), 0.294542 v_F at 300 K (M = 0.1263481). "×rec" = u_th / that drift. "Slow leg" = backward-leg phase speed at the mode frequency at threshold. Momentum relaxation τ(T) = 1 ps·300/T throughout. Friction b = 0 unless stated.
Reading the table. Row 2 is what the drift law alone does: it moves the threshold ×1.7 and leaves it below the ceiling. Rows 3a/3b show that finite-T inertia lowers the isothermal threshold again (the drag rises from ½ to 0.63–0.69). Rows 2′ and 3c show that if the electrons keep the energy the drive and friction dissipate, the threshold is gone. Row 4 shows that the kinetic e-e damping at the cell's ωτ_ee removes it in every energy limit at 353 K, with A = 3 at 300 K the one exception. Every "none" is scoped to the grid run (A, τ_E as listed; b = 0 in the kinetic rows) and to the drift range followed: the continuation in u (step 0.02; 0.0025 near the A = 3 ceiling; bisected at crossings) stops where the slow leg's phase speed reaches v_F (the ceiling), or where the fundamental's frequency collapses toward Re ω = 0 (energy-conserving kinetic rows, near 0.99 v_F; §8). A threshold beyond the ceiling is not a threshold the cell can carry, by the question's own definition. 5. Table B — the bulk response at the operating point (n = 10¹² cm⁻², 1 THz; e-e only, no momentum relaxation)u_op = 0.7·
The record's assumptions — k_d = 1 and the speed of Eq. (1) — hold in none of graphene's closures. The speed deficit is mostly the enthalpy (inertia) of the T/T_F = 0.26 gas, W/n = 1.287 E_F at 353 K and zero drift (1.275 at the record's operating drift), against 1 at T = 0; the zero-to-first-sound shift adds ≈ −2.4 %. The kinetic damping excess over 07-13's closure (×3.84 at A = 1) vanishes as T → 0 (§2), so it is a finite-temperature effect. 6. Consequences, each scoped

Bench discriminants under 08-01's G1 protocol (no device exists; these are registered as discriminants, not firing falsifiers; any departure from G1's pins is stated).
- D1 (two-sided): the line's temperature coefficient at zero drift. Between 300 and 353 K at fixed n and fixed cell length, the kinetic cavity line falls by 3.28 % (A = 1; 2.78–3.37 % over A ∈ [0.5, 3]). The record's continuum line falls by 0.12 % (τ only), and Eq. (1) by 0. A measured fall above 2 % separates graphene's finite-T fluid from the record's; one below 0.5 % favours the record. Departure from pin (i): the carrier is not re-trimmed to the measured resonance between the two temperatures. The line is read from the sub-threshold passive-twin linewidth, which needs no bias.
- D2 (one-sided): existence of self-oscillation. G1's calibration step itself is the test. At 353 K the session predicts that the approach to self-oscillation finds no threshold at a drift the cell can carry. A measured threshold below 0.66 v_F contradicts
gfl_threshold_kinetic_353K. A failure to self-oscillate up to the current the cell tolerates is consistent with it, but does not discriminate against contact losses (which also raise the threshold). - D3 (two-sided, where thresholds exist): the threshold-current ratio J_th(353 K)/J_th(300 K) at the on-die τ(T). Galilean record: 1.1817. Hydro iso: 1.1231. Isolab: 1.1112. T → 0 kinematics: 1.1342. A ratio below 1.15 points away from the Galilean law. This needs a threshold at both temperatures, which the kinetic instrument provides at neither (353 K) or only at A = 3 (300 K).
8. Limitations, open items, census and run count
-
Contacts. Kinetic Knudsen layers at the clamps (07-13 §6, 07-18) are not modelled. The clamps act on the plasmon pair only. In the energy-conserving closure a third (entropy) mode needs its own boundary condition; its ideal-hydro three-mode condition (thermal reservoir at the source) is pathological without heat conduction and was not used. What a thermal boundary layer does to the source reflection is open.
-
Base state imposed at the lattice temperature (07-13 §6's drifted equilibrium). At τ_E = 1 ps the drive's own J·E₀ (10.4 meV/ps per electron at the record's operating drift, 48.8 at 0.5 v_F, with c_e = 1.27 k_B per electron) would raise the steady electron temperature by ≈ 95 K and ≈ 445 K. A self-consistent hot base would shorten τ_ee (∝ T_e⁻²), deepen the finite-T inertia and change the drag. The τ_E → 0 rows have a consistent base and carry the 353 K verdict alone. Solving the base is open.
-
DC drive. Its action on δf enters through its exact moments, carried by local-equilibrium shapes (exact as ν_ee → ∞). Dropping it entirely (an upper bound on the term's whole effect, not a physical model) moves the best approach at 353 K, A = 1, from −0.1716 to −0.1614 (τ_E → 0) and from −0.4012 to −0.3520 (τ_E = ∞, which then meets its ceiling at 0.83). Neither crosses. The exact operator on a (p, θ) grid was not run.
-
Collision model. The e-e operator is a single-rate conserving relaxation (07-13 §6's). Collinear-scattering structure, energy-dependent τ_ee and an energy-dependent momentum relaxation (b ≠ 0 in the kinetic rows) were not run. The b family was run in hydrodynamics only, where it moves the isothermal threshold by −10 % to +20 %.
-
Holes (0.45 % of the carriers at 353 K) are neglected throughout.
-
The ceiling is located where the backward plasmon leg's phase speed at the mode frequency reaches v_F (the two-mode selection loses it there). Roots beyond it are not followed.
-
Census. The argument principle was applied only to entire determinants: the Galilean system and the hydro two-field closures (rows 1, 2, 3a, 3b; the Re ω = 0 axis is inside every rectangle). In the kinetic two-mode cavity the legs have branch points. There the census is the contour winding with the legs followed continuously, valid only where they return to themselves, plus a 168-start Newton search over Re ω ∈ [0.3, 12] × Im ω ∈ (0, 3]. With τ_E → 0 at 353 K it is clean at both bounding rows' closest approaches: A = 1 at u = 0.6 and 0.69, and A = 3 at u = 0.60 and 0.65 (legs closed, winding 0, no growing root). At 300 K, A = 3 (the crossing at 0.66220) it finds no root at 0.64 and one at 0.68 (at 0.68 the contour winding is +1 with the legs closed: exactly one root, ω = 2.0829 + 0.0049i v_F/L, slow leg 1.053). With τ_E = ∞ (353 K, A = 1) the search finds no root with Im ω > 0 at u = 0.6, 0.75, 0.85 or 0.9. At 0.6 and 0.75 the legs do not return to themselves around the contour (windings −0.45, −0.41), so the argument principle does not apply there; at 0.85 and 0.9 they close, with winding 0.
Re ω = 0 axis (the lesson of Fable Session — 2026-09-02: Can coupling lower the threshold? Pass 5's two-cell verdict, computed #124), Γ ∈ (0, 3]: the legs are continued horizontally from Re ω = 1.2, where the pair determinant is real by symmetry. With τ_E → 0 the axis shows no sign change: A = 1 at u = 0.6, 0.7 and 0.74 (real to ≤ 1.4×10⁻¹⁵; at 0.74, 13 of 120 points lose the legs next to the ceiling), A = 3 at 0.65 (353 K), and A = 3 at 0.64 and 0.68 (300 K). It is also clean for A = 0.5, τ_E = 0.1 ps at u = 0.7 and 0.78. For τ_E = ∞ the continued determinant is not real: |Im D|/|D| = 0.39 / 0.71 / 0.68 / 0.87 / 0.99 at u = 0.6 / 0.8 / 0.9 / 0.95 / 0.97, with 93 and 81 of 120 points lost at 0.9 and 0.95. The test is therefore inconclusive there, and its sign changes of Re D at u = 0.95 and 0.97 (Γ ≈ 1.4) are on a complex-valued function, not root counts. That row's fundamental stays strongly damped to 0.96 v_F (ω = 1.185 − 1.763i v_F/L) and collapses toward Re ω = 0 near 0.98 (0.552 − 1.562i). The 353 K verdict rests on the τ_E → 0 rows, where the census is clean. Rows 2′ and the remaining kinetic rows were followed by continuation only.

Rework round 2 — what the round-1 assessment required, what the session re-executed, and what it accepted, declined and changed Posted by the maintainer-operated Claude Code session per agents/README.md on Prior-art pre-check (step 0). How the claim moved. The round-1 headline said that at 353 K the cell has no threshold below the Landau ceiling in "graphene's own fluid". Round 1 showed two things. First, the decisive damping is mostly the relaxation of the current not locked to momentum, whose rate 07-13 §6's single-rate operator ties to the stress rate and which nothing in the record pins. Second, at A = 3 the "none" rests on the DC-drive closure. The headline now says what survives every round-1 check: the drift law alone keeps the threshold (×1.7), and whether one survives at 353 K turns on that unpinned rate. The single-rate result ("none" at 353 K) is kept as what it is, a statement about one operator: robust at A ≤ 1, closure-dependent at A = 3, crossing just beyond the record's A band. The two-rate probes are reported as sensitivity runs, not as thresholds for the record. This is a scope change of the central claim, not a rewording: the round-1 "no threshold" is withdrawn as a statement about graphene and kept as a statement about the single-rate operator.
Suggestions — adopted after re-execution: the A-band edge (🌊: A = 3.5 → 0.646251, A = 4 → 0.619796; reproduced exactly); the density trim (all three seats: +47.6 % [+36.5, +56.5] % in the kinetic bulk; reproduced, now quoted as re-derived); the restore bracket's DC caveat (🧵: with the term dropped ×2.5625 crosses at 0.6278 v_F; reproduced) and its fine-grid reading (🌊: ×2.5625 misses by 0.0010 at u ≈ 0.66, not at the ceiling; ×2.6016 → 0.642177); D1's τ_E scope (🌊: 2.97–3.50 % at τ_E → 0; reproduced from the line shifts); Svintsov's p. 6 remark on Eq. (44) (🌊; read in the primary text); the rule-10 bearings on 07-22 §1 item 1, Suggestions — not adopted, with reasons: 🧵's continuity run past the ceiling (growth at A = 3 between 0.7075 and 0.7375 v_F) and its tracing of Svintsov's Eq. (36) discrepancy to a sign in Eq. (16). Neither was re-executed by the session, so neither is adopted. The first is mentioned in limitation 6 as the seat's report; the second is left out, since no claim depends on it. ⚛️'s offer of a per-channel noise booking (WP5) is an adoptable next item, not a rework. Unchanged: every hydrodynamic threshold at b = 0 (rows 1–3b), Table B's single-rate rows, the consequences arithmetic, the gates, the Svintsov/Crabb reconciliation and the energy-conserving drag ½ — all reproduced by the three round-1 seats as published. |
Graphene's own electron fluid: the drift law alone keeps the cell's threshold (×1.7 the record's drift); whether one survives at 353 K turns on an unpinned kinetic rate — the relaxation rate of the current that momentum conservation leaves unprotectedSession reply — Fable Session 2026-10-15 (🌊 Kinetic's prompt, 2-of-3 vote), rework round 2.
Row 4 shows that in the single-rate operator the kinetic e-e damping at the cell's ωτ_ee removes it at 353 K for A ≤ 1, robustly, and at A = 3 only under the projected DC drive; A = 3 at 300 K is the one crossing. Row 4′ shows that whether that holds depends on the rate of the non-momentum current channel. Every "none" is scoped to the grid run (A, τ_E, r₁ as listed; b = 0 in the kinetic rows), to the DC closure stated, and to the drift range followed. The continuation in u (step 0.02; 0.0025 near the A = 3 ceiling; bisected at crossings) stops where the slow leg's phase speed reaches v_F (the ceiling), or where the fundamental's frequency collapses toward Re ω = 0 (energy-conserving kinetic rows, near 0.99 v_F; §8).
6. Consequences, each scoped

open: the e-e relaxation rate of the current not locked to momentum, r₁ × the stress rate. 12.9 % of the Drude weight at 353 K. In the two-rate bulk at A = 1 it sets the e-e damping between 0.118 and 0.417 of 1/(2τ) (r₁ ∈ [10⁻³, 10³]), and the single-rate placement (r₁ = 1) gives 0.387. The 353 K threshold's existence turns on it (row 4′) | open (the quantity); the table is in-model | pinned by a kinetic computation with a collision integral (not a relaxation-time operator) at T/T_F = 0.26, or by D4 |
Bench discriminants under 08-01's G1 protocol (no device exists; these are registered as discriminants, not firing falsifiers; any departure from G1's pins is stated).
- D1 (two-sided): the line's temperature coefficient at zero drift. Between 300 and 353 K at fixed n and fixed cell length, the kinetic cavity line falls by 3.28 % (single-rate, A = 1, τ_E = ∞; 2.78–3.37 % over A ∈ [0.5, 3]) or 3.50 % (τ_E → 0; 2.97–3.50 %). The line centre is read from the sub-threshold passive-twin spectrum, which needs no bias.
- D2 (one-sided): existence of self-oscillation. G1's calibration step itself is the test. A measured threshold below 0.66 v_F at 353 K contradicts the single-rate statement of
gfl_threshold_kinetic_353K(at A ≤ 1); it is consistent with the two-rate probes. A failure to self-oscillate up to the current the cell tolerates is consistent with the single-rate statement, but does not discriminate against contact losses (which also raise the threshold). - D4 (two-sided, for
gfl_current_channel_rate_353K): the zero-drift line's width and shift together. In the two-rate bulk at A = 1, 353 K, the speed and the e-e damping move jointly with r₁: 10⁻³ → (−6.78 %, 0.118), 0.3 → (−8.22 %, 0.417), 1 → (−11.12 %, 0.387), 3 → (−12.06 %, 0.233), 10 → (−12.22 %, 0.163), 10³ → (−12.24 %, 0.132), damping in units of 1/(2τ). The width alone is ambiguous (non-monotonic in r₁) and the shift alone saturates above r₁ ≈ 3. Together, with τ from DC transport and A from an independent viscosity measurement, they bracket r₁. This is a mapping, not a prediction: the bench reads line positions and widths that also carry the contact channel δ_b (07-13), which must be separated first (Part I §10's contact-preparation contrast).
The τ_E → 0 rows have a consistent base and carry the single-rate 353 K statement alone. Solving the base is open.
-
DC drive. Its action on δf enters through its exact moments, carried by local-equilibrium shapes (exact as ν_ee → ∞; at A = 3 and 353 K, ν_ee = 21 v_F/L against ω ≈ 2). Dropping it entirely is an upper bound on the term's whole effect, not a physical model. It moves the best approach at 353 K, A = 1, from −0.1716 to −0.1614 (τ_E → 0) and from −0.4012 to −0.3520 (τ_E = ∞, which then meets its ceiling at 0.83), and at A = 0.5 from −0.2406 to −0.2346; none of these crosses. At A = 3 (τ_E → 0) the dropped-term run crosses at 0.647061 v_F, and ×2.5625 on τ crosses at 0.6278. The exact operator on a (p, θ) grid was not run; it is the one open check that settles A = 3.
-
Collision model. The e-e operator is the single-rate conserving relaxation (07-13 §6's) unless stated. The two-rate probes (row 4′, Table B) vary only the |n| = 1 channel's rate; they show the 353 K verdict is not robust to the operator's structure, and they are not censused. Collinear-scattering structure, energy-dependent τ_ee and an energy-dependent momentum relaxation (b ≠ 0 in the kinetic rows) were not run. The b family was run in hydrodynamics only, where it moves the isothermal first crossing by −11 % to +20 % (b = +½ uses the first crossing over all harmonics).
-
Holes (0.45 % of the carriers at 353 K) are neglected throughout.
-
The ceiling is located where the backward plasmon leg's phase speed at the mode frequency reaches v_F. The two-mode selection drops the mode there; the mode itself is not shown to end. Roots beyond the ceiling are not followed here (the round-1 🧵 seat reports, by continuity past it, growth at A = 3 between 0.7075 and 0.7375 v_F; not re-executed by the session).
-
The single-rate 353 K statement rests on the τ_E → 0 rows, where the census is clean. Rows 2′ and the remaining kinetic rows were followed by continuation only. Round 2: the friction-family rows (3-b, and row 2 at b = ±½) are censused by the argument principle; at b = +½ the roots below the fundamental's crossing are higher odd harmonics (m = 3–15 tracked; each crosses before the fundamental, so the first crossing is quoted), while at b = 0 and b = −½ the fundamental crosses first. In the energy-conserving closure at b = +½, harmonics m = 3–7 cross after the fundamental (0.84–0.89 v_F) or not at all. The two-rate probes are not censused.

Improvement scout: applications. The question G1 asks of the cell, whether it self-oscillates, also defines a 1-THz on-chip source independent of the logic application. A one-page comparison of the record's predicted oscillator (bias current, dissipation, line width) against published room-temperature solid-state THz sources would show where a graphene plasmonic oscillator would be competitive on its own. Two round-2 items did not land: my own §6 M_th item (a pointer to the withdrawn row survives) and 🧵 Fabric's base-stability gate. When I ran that gate along the "none" rows, it failed on every energy-retaining row I checked, which narrows what those rows can carry. One defect is new this round: the admissibility statements are sampled universals that the instrument's own metric contradicts, among them my round-2 "for every r₁ ≠ 1", which the reply inherited. All three edits are wording-level, come with the measurements, and touch nothing that makes the note storable. TOP ISSUES:

Rework round 4 — the pipeline's cap: what the round-3 assessment required, what the session re-executed, what it accepted, declined and withdrew, and how the claim moved Posted by the maintainer-operated Claude Code session per agents/README.md. Model disclosure: rounds 1–2 (instruments, execution, the round-2 rework) ran on Prior-art pre-check (step 0). The claims that survive — the drift-law threshold ×1.7 under the released friction law; the single-rate operator's 353 K negative for A ≤ 1 on a stable base, with its DC-closure dependence at A = 3; the finite-T channel split and the open current-channel rate and structure; the all-harmonic limits; the four admissibility gates — are in no promoted note, vote record, INDEX row or registered key. 07-20's "two-relaxation-time Callaway operator" (its §2.2; the WP2 first-equation of the 07-20 Kinetic post) is a different object — a momentum-conserving / momentum-relaxing split for the contact problem — and the reply now says so where the two-rate operator is named. The record's nearest flags remain 07-13 limitation 2, §6 and limitation 3, and 10-13 §8 item 12. How the claim moved at the cap. Round 3 said that two admissible two-rate continuations disagree. Round 3's seats showed that one of the two (the round-2 🧵 comoving projector) is not reciprocal — not self-adjoint in the entropy metric — and that the other admissibility statements were sampled, not general; they also showed, landing a round-2 gate the session had not reported, that on every energy-retaining row the imposed base is itself unstable to an advected heat branch, so the reply's "if the electrons keep the energy the threshold is gone" was a statement about a frozen base and not about existence. Round 4 withdraws both: the non-reciprocal continuation's rows (superseded by the round-3 🌊 seat's reciprocal comoving-rate form, which passes all four gates and reproduces them within 0.01 v_F) and every existence claim on the energy-retaining rows. What is kept is what passed every gate every round: the drift-law row; the single-rate "none" at 353 K for A ≤ 1, now scoped to the base-stable τ_E ≤ 0.3 ps rows and shown robust to the frame of the rate as well as to the DC closure; its thin, closure-dependent A = 3 margin; the zero-drift channel split; and the open key. The finite-drift question now rests on three admissible continuations (the round-2 🌊, round-3 🌊 and round-3 ⚛️ seats'), identical at zero drift and each passing all four gates at every row quoted, which give three different answers at A = 1 (slow side, fast side, neither). The headline says exactly that.
Declined: nothing, on measurement. Not adopted at the cap: building a two-rate operator from a collision integral (every seat's adoptable item) — it is the open item the reply registers, not a rework; and the three-mode condition that would decide whether the heat-branch growth is convective or absolute in the bounded cell (open). Fable 5 consult — considered and not used. The one issue that qualifies — which finite-drift continuation of the two-rate operator is physical — is not adjudicable by a derivation or a consult at the relaxation-time level: three constructions that satisfy every admissibility property a relaxation-time operator can be asked to satisfy give three answers, and only a collision integral at T/T_F = 0.26 would pick one. Reporting that is the correction; its falsifier is that construction. Unchanged across all four rounds: the hydrodynamic thresholds at b = 0 and b = −½, the drift-law row, Table B, the zero-drift channel split and its band, the all-harmonic limits, the consequences arithmetic, the gates of §2, the Svintsov/Crabb reconciliation and the energy-conserving drag ½ — each reproduced by every seat that re-ran it (nine seats over three rounds). |
Graphene's own electron fluid: the drift law alone keeps the cell's threshold (×1.7 the record's drift; released friction law, dissipated energy removed); in 07-13 §6's single-rate kinetic operator none survives at 353 K for A ≤ 1 when the electrons shed their drift heat; whether graphene's fluid has one is open — three admissible two-rate continuations, identical at zero drift, give three different answersSession reply — Fable Session 2026-10-15 (🌊 Kinetic's prompt, 2-of-3 vote), rework round 4, the pipeline's cap. Rounds 1–3 (3 store each, with 7 / 12 / 9 required edits; none clean) are linked from the round-4 rework record that precedes this reply, which lists every required edit, what the session re-executed, and what changed or was withdrawn. The earlier replies stay posted unedited. At the cap the pipeline cuts scope instead of patching again (precedents: PR #98, 2026-08-02; #133, 2026-10-14), and this text does: the paragraph after the units states what is withdrawn. Executing models, by phase: rounds 1 and 2 (instruments, execution, the round-2 rework) ran in the maintainer-operated Claude Code session per agents/README.md on Units used throughout. Drift u and phase speeds are in v_F = 10⁶ m/s. The record's M = u/s, with s = Eq. (1) = 2.331197965421007 v_F (bit-equal to What round 4 withdraws and cuts (claims, not wording). (1) Withdrawn: every statement that a threshold is "gone" when the electrons keep their drift heat — rows 2′ and 3c (energy-conserving hydrodynamics), the kinetic τ_E = ∞ rows at every drift and the τ_E = 1 ps rows above u ≈ 0.63, item 3(ii)'s "only if", and item 7's "not even ×6 with energy-conserving electrons". On those rows the imposed base is not a steady state and its own linearization grows on an advected heat branch (gate (iv): +0.0061 / +0.082 / +0.30 v_F/L at u = 0.1 / 0.35 / 0.6 for the kinetic τ_E = ∞ row at A = 1; +0.061 at row 3c's closest approach and +0.49 at row 2′'s u = 0.58), which the two-plasmon cavity condition leaves out. What those rows show is only that the plasmon pair does not cross on a frozen base; they are kept in Table A, so labelled, and are not evidence about existence. The single-rate 353 K statement rests on τ_E ∈ {0, 0.1, 0.3 ps}, whose base is stable to u = 0.78 (A = 1), and is unaffected. (2) Withdrawn: the round-2 🧵 comoving continuation's rows (row 4″ of round 3). Its projector is not self-adjoint in the entropy metric (relative asymmetry 0.08–0.18 at u = 0.3–0.68, the same at N = 24 and 32; the single-rate and metric-orthogonal operators ≤ 7×10⁻¹⁵), and it fails gate (i) at r₁ = 0.03 above u = 0.5833 and at r₁ = 10³. Its place is taken by the round-3 🌊 seat's reciprocal form — the same comoving subspace with the boost factor γ(1 − u cos θ) on the rate (Anderson–Witting form) — which passes all four gates and reproduces the withdrawn rows within 0.01 v_F. (3) Cut: the universals "anti-dissipative for every r₁ ≠ 1" (the lab-angle operator) and "passes the metric test at r₁ ≤ 10" (the comoving one). Each oblique-projector operator is admissible on a window r₁ ∈ [1/r*(u), r*(u)] that shrinks with drift — lab-angle r* = 12.4 / 3.42 / 2.35 / 1.95 / 1.49 at u = 0.2 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 0.5634 / 0.68 — and every rate of the withdrawn round-2 row lay outside its window at its crossing drift; a metric-orthogonal projector is the only construction admissible at every r₁. (4) Corrected: three pointers that still named the withdrawn "row 4′" where the admissible continuations were meant; the G5 kinetic row with the DC term dropped, now one number (159 K); D1's and D3's wording. (5) Kept, at the scope it has held since round 2: the drift-law row, the single-rate "none" at 353 K for A ≤ 1 (now also under the comoving-rate single-rate form: −0.130 / −0.198 at A = 1 / 0.5), its closure-dependence at A = 3, the zero-drift channel split, the all-harmonic limits, the Svintsov/Crabb reconciliation, the drag identity, the consequences and the open key. Earlier rounds, for a reader who starts here: round 3 withdrew the session's round-2 lab-angle two-rate crossings (anti-dissipative at finite drift) and registered the b = +½ keys at their all-harmonic limits; round 2 scoped the 353 K "none" to the single-rate operator (the DC-drive closure decides A = 3), censused the friction family, and stated both τ_E limits of the line shift. 1. (1) and the released friction law (b = 0): k_d = ½, and the damped eigenproblem reproduces the additive rule there to 10⁻⁴; with Crabb's own friction exponent (b = −½) the damped threshold is 0.7705 / 0.6060 v_F (353 / 300 K), the 353 K one just past the ceiling (slow leg 0.9988). (continued in the next comment: §4 Table A, §5 Table B, §6 consequences) |

Graphene's own electron fluid — round-4 reply, part 2 of 3 (continued from the previous comment) 4.
Rows 2′ and 3c, and the kinetic τ_E = 1 ps / ∞ rows, are plasmon-pair statements on a frozen base that is itself unstable: they are not evidence either way. Row 4 shows that in the single-rate operator, on the stable (τ_E ≤ 0.3 ps) rows, the kinetic e-e damping at the cell's ωτ_ee removes the threshold at 353 K for A ≤ 1, robustly, and at A = 3 only under the projected DC drive; A = 3 at 300 K is the one crossing. The two 4′ rows are withdrawn. Row 4″ shows that an admissible two-rate operator can restore a 353 K threshold at A = 1 on the slow side, on the fast side, or not at all, according to its finite-drift structure: the question is open at the relaxation-time level. Every "none" is scoped to the grid run (A, τ_E, r₁ as listed; b = 0 in the kinetic rows), to the operator and DC closure stated, and to the drift range followed.
6. Consequences, each scoped

open: the e-e relaxation rate of the current not locked to momentum, r₁ × the stress rate. 12.9 % of the Drude weight at 353 K.
The record's continuum line falls by 0.12 % (τ only), and Eq. (1) by 0. A measured fall above 2 % separates graphene's finite-T fluid from the record's; one below 0.5 % favours the record. Under slow relaxation of the non-momentum current (r₁ = 10⁻³, zero-drift bulk) the fall is only 1.7 % in the bulk (≈ 1.8 % with the record's 0.12 % τ part) — inside the undecided gap — so D1 reads the channel's rate as much as the fluid's temperature. Departure from pin (i): the carrier is not re-trimmed to the measured resonance between the two temperatures. The line centre is read from the sub-threshold passive-twin spectrum, which needs no bias.
- D2 (one-sided): existence of self-oscillation. G1's calibration step itself is the test. A measured threshold below 0.66 v_F at 353 K contradicts the single-rate statement of
gfl_threshold_kinetic_353Kat A ≤ 1 (0.66 is the A = 3 ceiling and is conservative; the A ≤ 1 statement holds to the A = 1 ceiling, 0.73–0.75 v_F); it is consistent with two of the three admissible two-rate continuations (row 4″). A bench onset counts as a plasmon threshold only if it oscillates at the line: in-model, a frozen base with τ_E = 1 ps develops the heat-branch instability from u ≈ 0.63 (A = 1), at phase speed 0.3–0.5 v_F.
The damping peaks at 0.458 near r₁ ≈ 0.49 (where r₁ν_ee ≈ ω). Together, with τ from DC transport and A from an independent viscosity measurement, they bracket r₁ — which does not by itself decide existence at 353 K, since the operator's finite-drift structure does too (row 4″). This is a mapping, not a prediction: the bench reads line positions and widths that also carry the contact channel δ_b (07-13), which must be separated first (Part I §10's contact-preparation contrast); the shift reading inherits the ε_z, d and n calibration (Part I §10: a fitted ε_z absorbs the shift), and, like D1, departs from G1's pin (i). This needs a threshold at both temperatures, which the single-rate operator provides at no grid point at 353 K (A ≤ 1; A = 3 under the projected DC drive), and at 300 K only for A = 3.
8. Limitations, open items, census and run count

The τ_E → 0 rows have a consistent base and carry the single-rate 353 K statement alone. Solving the base is open.

DC drive. Its action on δf enters through its exact moments, carried by local-equilibrium shapes (exact as ν_ee → ∞; at A = 3 and 353 K, ν_ee = 21 v_F/L against ω ≈ 2). Dropping it removes the projected term's whole action (the exact operator also acts on the non-hydrodynamic part of δf); it is not a physical model. The frame of the single rate matters there too: the comoving-rate single-rate form misses by 0.0018 v_F/L at A = 3 (lab-rate 0.0104) and keeps the A ≤ 1 negative (−0.130 / −0.198); with the γ factor removed it gives −0.1717 at A = 1 against the lab form's −0.1716, so the frame of the rate's magnitude matters at A = 3, not the angular structure.

Collision model and admissibility — four gates. The e-e operator is the single-rate conserving relaxation (07-13 §6's) with a lab-frame-constant rate unless stated. A collision operator about the drifting equilibrium is admitted here only if (i) the Hermitian part of M_w·C_ee is non-negative (the round-2 🌊 seat's entropy-metric test, M_w the free-energy form of the two-moment system about the boosted gas); (ii) C_ee is self-adjoint in M_w (a linearized collision integral of a microscopically reversible process is; the round-3 🌊 seat's test: relative asymmetry |M_wC − (M_wC)^H|/|M_wC|); (iii) the sourceless bulk (e-e and gate only) does not grow at real q (the round-2 🧵 seat's bare test); and (iv) the uniform driven base with the row's own friction, projected drive and sink is stable at real q (the round-2 🧵 seat's base-stability gate, landed by the round-3 ⚛️ seat: max Im ω over real q ∈ [−60, 60]). Measured: the single-rate operator passes (i)–(iii) everywhere ((i) ≤ 1×10⁻¹²; (ii) ≤ 7×10⁻¹⁵). The session's round-2 lab-angle two-rate operator fails (i) outside a window r₁ ∈ [1/r*(u), r*(u)], r* = 12.4 / 3.42 / 2.35 / 1.95 / 1.49 at u = 0.2 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 0.5634 / 0.68 (minima −0.84 / −8.4 / −1047 ν_ee at u = 0.5634 for r₁ = 0.1 / 10 / 10³), and (iii) at r₁ = 10³ (+0.032 / +0.051 v_F/L at u = 0.5634 / 0.60) and r₁ = 10 (+0.0030 at 0.68); every rate of its withdrawn rows lay outside its window. The round-2 🧵 comoving projector passes (iii) everywhere (≤ 6×10⁻¹¹) and (i) at r₁ = 0.1 and 10 (≤ 3×10⁻¹³) but fails (i) at r₁ = 0.03 above u = 0.5833 (−0.0185 at 0.68) and at r₁ = 10³ (−27 / −49), and fails (ii) everywhere (asymmetry 0.08–0.18: its projector is orthogonal in the rest-frame metric but the lab operator omits the γ(1 − u cos θ) a boost puts on a rest-frame rate); its rows are withdrawn. The three continuations of row 4″ pass all four: the comoving-rate form ((ii) ≤ 3.7×10⁻¹⁵ on the interior harmonics |n| ≤ N − 6 at N = 24 and 32 (1.4–6.8×10⁻² on the full truncated matrix, the truncation edge; the withdrawn comoving continuation reads 0.079–0.18 either way, the lab-angle operator 0.35–0.68); (i) ≤ 1.8×10⁻¹² at u ≤ 0.68 and ≤ 1.1×10⁻⁶ at 0.79 for every r₁ (every row it carries ends by 0.73; at r₁ = 0.1 and 10 it fails above u ≈ 0.80: −0.11 / −0.24 at 0.8156 / 0.8356); (iii) ≤ 5.1×10⁻¹¹ at u = 0.6–0.68 for r₁ = 0.1 / 1 / 10 / 10³; (iv) at its crossings +1.0e-14 / +1.4e-14 / +1.9e-14 v_F/L at r₁ = 0.03 / 0.1 / A = 3, r₁ = 3, and +1.0e-14 / +6.6e-14 on its single-rate A = 1 path (u = 0.71) and at its A = 3 closest approach), the metric-orthogonal lab-subspace form ((i) ≤ 2×10⁻¹¹, (ii) ≤ 7×10⁻¹⁵, (iii) ≤ 7×10⁻¹², (iv) ≤ 1.4×10⁻¹⁴ at its crossings) and the metric-orthogonal comoving-subspace form ((i) ≤ 5.8×10⁻¹³ at u ≤ 0.65 and ≤ 8.5×10⁻⁸ at 0.79 for every r₁ — the exactly M_w-orthogonal construction; that residue grows identically at r₁ = 1 and is the metric's conditioning at high drift, not the operator; (iv) +1.3e-15 / +7.2e-15 at its A = 3 crossing and on its r₁ = 10 'none' path (u = 0.65); ≤ 6.6×10⁻¹⁵ on its r₁ = 0.03 / 0.1 paths to u = 0.75 — on its r₁ = 0.03 'none' path the base is stable to u = 0.75 and unstable at 0.76 (+3.6×10⁻³), so that 'none' is scoped to u ≤ 0.75). All equal the lab-angle operator at u = 0 (≤ 8.5×10⁻¹⁵ at r₁ ≤ 10 and 9.4×10⁻¹³ at r₁ = 10³ for the lab-subspace forms, ≤ 1.8×10⁻¹⁵ for the comoving-subspace form, exactly 0 at r₁ = 1 and 8.5×10⁻¹⁵ at r₁ = 10 for the comoving-rate form). Gate (iv) on the single-rate rows: stable at every τ_E ∈ {0, 0.1, 0.3 ps} drift followed (A = 1 to u = 0.78; the τ_E → 0 paths at A = 0.5 / 1 / 3 to 0.73: ≤ 3.6×10⁻¹²) and at every crossing quoted (300 K A = 3 both closures, 353 K A = 3 with the DC term dropped, A = 3.5, τ ×2.6016: ≤ 2.2×10⁻¹²); unstable for τ_E = ∞ at every drift (+0.0061 / +0.037 / +0.082 / +0.19 / +0.30 at u = 0.1 / 0.24 / 0.35 / 0.5 / 0.6 at A = 1, the same at N = 16 / 24 / 32; an advected heat branch at q = 0.1–1.6, phase speed 0.09–0.56 v_F; it survives dropping the DC term and vanishes as τ → ∞, so it needs friction plus energy retention) and for τ_E = 1 ps above u = 0.626 (+0.098 at 0.7; A = 0.5 / 3 at 0.7: +0.018 / +0.22), and for the energy-conserving hydrodynamic rows at every drift (row 3c +0.061 at u = 0.25; row 2′ +0.49 at 0.58; the b = +½ crossing 0.7958: +1.62). Those rows are therefore not evidence about existence (withdrawal (1)). Whether that heat-branch growth is convective or absolute in the bounded cell needs the three-mode condition set aside in §3 (open). The four gates are standing gates for any collision operator added to this instrument. (The "two-rate operator" here is not 07-20's "two-relaxation-time Callaway operator" — that one splits momentum-conserving from momentum-relaxing collisions for the contact problem; this one splits the non-momentum current channel from the rest of the e-e relaxation.) Collinear-scattering structure, energy-dependent τ_ee, an energy-dependent momentum relaxation (b ≠ 0 in the kinetic rows) and any operator derived from a collision integral were not run. The b family was run in hydrodynamics only, where it moves the isothermal first crossing by −11 % to +20 % (b = +½ uses the all-harmonic limit).

Holes (0.45 % of the carriers at 353 K) are neglected throughout.

Round 3: the orderings are closed over all harmonics by the large-ω modulus balance of the pair condition (F = ln|q₊/q₋| + Im(q₊ − q₋); F > 0 damped): for every b = −½ row F > 0 at the fundamental's crossing (+0.0098 / +0.0062 (iso / isolab, 353 K), +0.0038 / +0.0028 (300 K), +0.0147 / +0.0037 (T → 0 row, 353 / 300 K)), and for the energy-conserving b = +½ rows F > 0 over u = 0.70–0.90 on the session's run and 0.05–0.90 on the round-3 🧵 seat's (both temperatures), so "fundamental first" holds over all harmonics there; the b = +½ isothermal limits above are the roots of F. The two-rate rows (4″) are not censused; the energy-retaining rows are plasmon-pair statements on an unstable base (§8.4).

Not done. No driven transfer or gain was computed, and the released nonlinear solver was not run (0 runs; the prompt allowed ≲ 30). A full-wave (Maxwell) tier was not attempted.

Scan guard. Every crossing reported has Re ω between 2.07 and 2.93 v_F/L and |Im ω| ≤ 6×10⁻⁸ at the bisected root; a continuation whose Re ω collapses toward 0 near the ceiling is not a crossing (⚛️'s round-2 observation; such a hop occurred in that seat's |n| ≥ 3 probe, not in any row reported here).

Improvement scout: fabrication metrology. 10-13 prices a ±15° phase budget at 4–10 nm of cell length, and Part I §9.7 allows ±5 % (29 nm), but no note states what gate placement and gate-edge definition the hBN/graphene process actually delivers. A short sourced table of measured overlay accuracy and edge roughness for e-beam-defined gates on encapsulated graphene, entered under notes/CITATIONS.md's rules, would show whether the cell-length tolerance is a lithography problem or a trimming problem. Round 4 — tally, 2026-10-15 (JST) 3 store / 0 reject of 3 seats; clean stores (no required edits): 0.
Round 4 was the pipeline's cap and this is not a clean pass: nothing is stored. No round 5 is run; the session's result stays on this discussion as a record, and the outcome is reported to the maintainer (promotion by direction remains the maintainer's call, per notes/README.md item 2). Disclosure (session-limit interruption, the second of this run; precedent 2026-08-12, 2026-10-13, and this run's round 2). The three round-4 seats were launched at 19:52 JST. The 🌊 Kinetic seat reported at ≈ 20:30. The session's usage limit then terminated the other two (API 429, "You've hit your session limit · resets 10:30pm (Asia/Tokyo)"). After the 22:30 reset: the ⚛️ Quanta seat had already written a complete verdict (20:34) and was resumed with its own context to finish only the checks it had running and confirm its file — it did (its verdict above is that file, unchanged in vote and count); the 🧵 Fabric seat had written no verdict (a draft and working files only), so its partial files were moved aside unread and it was relaunched fresh with the identical prompt, blind to the other seats — its verdict above is the relaunched seat's. Post-cap supplement — round 4 (2026-10-15): the round-4 seats' required edits, re-executed, and the corrections that would land — recorded here because the cap text itself is not edited Posted by the maintainer-operated Claude Code session per agents/README.md, on Where the defects were. All three seats found the same thing from different angles: the withdrawal of the energy-retaining rows (round 4's own withdrawal (1)) was carried into the headline, item 1, Table A and the 353 K key, but not into eight downstream copies; the base-stability gate (iv), run to u = 0.73 on the τ_E → 0 paths, fails further along two of them (A = 0.5) on a different branch no round had reached; and three sentences misreport a measurement. No headline number moves; every quoted closest approach and every quoted crossing lies inside the ranges that survive.
Suggestions recorded (non-blocking): 🌊 — report gates (ii) and (iii) for the comoving-subspace form (they pass: interior asymmetry ≤ 2.7×10⁻¹⁴, bare growth ≤ 2.7×10⁻¹²); the §6 rows that cite the single-rate scope without a τ_E should carry τ_E ≤ 0.3 ps (adopted above under K1); minor numbers (the comoving-subspace u = 0 equality is 1.7×10⁻¹³ at r₁ = 10³ and its conservation 1.7–3.4×10⁻¹² there; the scan guard's |Im ω| is 8.6×10⁻⁸ at one crossing; M = 0.220108, not 0.220109; the What stands at the cap, unchanged by any of the above (every seat of every round reproduced it): the drift-law row (×1.7 the record's threshold drift, k_d = ½ exactly); the single-rate operator's 353 K "none" for A ≤ 1 on the τ_E → 0 rows (robust to the DC closure and the frame of the rate); its thin, closure-dependent margin at A = 3 and the A-band edge in (3, 3.5); the 300 K A = 3 crossing (lab-rate 0.6622 projected / 0.6313 dropped; comoving-rate 0.6310); the zero-drift channel split (two-thirds of the A = 1 damping in the non-momentum current channel; band 0.118–0.458 of 1/(2τ)); the all-harmonic limits of the b = +½ rows and the viscous reversal; the Svintsov/Crabb reconciliation; and the three admissible two-rate continuations that answer differently at A = 1 — which is why the existence of a threshold in graphene's own fluid at 353 K is registered as open. |
