GatherMaster v0.7.0

GatherPoint is now GatherMaster, for Retail FFXI / Ashita v4, by DragoHorse.

• Load with /addon load gathermaster; toggle the window with /gathermaster ui or /gm.
• /gp and /gatherpoint remain compatibility aliases for every command.
• Existing gathering timing, target recovery, stop logic, statistics and profile schema are retained.
• The included Python tool backs up and verifies the original runtime and migrates saved settings/history without rewriting profiles. Rollback retains newer totals.
• GatherMaster stops if GatherPoint is loaded and refuses a stale profile import after a later legacy save.

New users: extract the gathermaster folder into your Ashita addons folder.

Existing GatherPoint users: stop and unload GatherPoint, extract the ZIP outside the game directory, and follow MIGRATION.md using the included tools/deploy.py. Do not install by extracting over your existing runtime. Keep the backup folder; it is used by the migration guard and rollback. The migration tool requires Python 3.12 or later.

The repository retains its GatherPoint URL and earlier releases. Nothing in the package loads an addon or starts gathering automatically. The bundled sound is excluded from the MIT code license; its separate licensing terms remain undocumented.

Validation: 119 LuaJIT gathering/profile/command scenarios, 12 filesystem and package tests, and 23 RetailHUD integration tests passed. The release ZIP was tested by extracting it and using its own tool to migrate and roll back temporary profiles. The owner reported normal live operation after the rename. Harvesting, character switching and individual recovery paths were not separately live-confirmed.

RetailHUD can target addon gathermaster with /gathermaster ui; its separate local shortcut update is not bundled in this release. Historical screenshots still show GatherPoint v0.6.1.

GatherPoint v0.6.1

GatherPoint for Ashita v4: mining, logging and harvesting with optional nearby-point selection, per-character settings, Session / Character totals, tool warnings and a completion sound.

Download GatherPoint-v0.6.1.zip, extract the gatherpoint folder into your Ashita addons folder, then run /addon load gatherpoint and /gp.

The ZIP includes only the two Lua files, completion WAV and short README. Existing character settings and totals are kept when updating.

Validation: 111 mocked scenarios and LuaJIT syntax checks passed. Mining has been tested in game; two logging points were tried successfully. Harvesting and character switching still need live verification.
