opencode native 0.8.0
Added
tools/font_proposals.mjstries typefaces in the real client (--font-dir=<folder>, nothing installed);
tools/check_embedded_fonts.mjschecks that a build holds its fonts.
Changed
- A typeface of its own: Hanken Grotesk for the interface, Newsreader for the answers, DM Mono for code, built into the
program, so it looks the same on Windows and Linux. Settings > Appearance goes back to the system's faces (Font, Mono font:
System; Prose font: As the interface). Characters outside Latin come from the system's fonts. - gui_toolkit 0.60.0.
Fixed
- Answers keep an even line height: inline code no longer pushes its line apart.
Windows 10 and 11 (x64): one executable; run it, or install it for your user from its Setup (title bar menu > Setup...).
Linux (x64): the archive holds one program; run it, or ./opencode-native --install (an entry in the applications menu). Needs Vulkan, libxkbcommon, fontconfig, Wayland or X11.
It finds the opencode server of the computer by itself (another one: --url, or the status bar's server menu).
