Major Features

  • Linux Support: Added full Linux build support (standalone .tar.gz), including PyInstaller specs, dynamic icon handling, and platform-specific GUI dependencies.
  • Redesigned Settings: Features a complete UI overhaul with side navigation and dedicated pages for each account. Includes a new About page (app details, update checks, data-folder access) and unsaved-change indicators to prevent accidental data loss.
  • LLM Model Picker: Added provider-based LLM model selection (Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenAI-compatible), custom model support, and API key visibility toggles.
  • Custom OpenAI-Compatible Endpoints: Added support for user-defined base URLs to connect with any OpenAI-compatible API.
  • Visual Search Enhancements: Image uploads now use a more reliable drag-and-drop flow, with a fallback file picker and confirmation prompts for better reliability.
  • Customizable Delays: Added a new setting to define minimum and maximum pause durations for manual search runs.
  • In-App Log Viewer: You can now view background logs directly in the UI (for scheduled and headless runs) without digging into the file system.
  • Search Dataset Update: Cleaned up the main dataset by removing obsolete queries and significantly expanding the query pool.
  • GitHub Star Prompt: Added a non-intrusive reminder encouraging users to star the repository after meaningful app usage.

Fixes

  • Accurate Progress Tracking: The bot now strictly verifies Visual Search credit and automatically retries on alternate surfaces if the reward isn't captured, preventing lost streaks.
  • Settings Stability: Fixed vulnerabilities by preventing the app from saving while settings are still loading and gracefully handling file-lock failures (e.g., from Windows Defender).
  • Linux GUI & Link Handling: Fixed app startup logic and improved stability when opening external links on Linux.
