KidsHeal

Big health bars with clickable spell icons for each group member — healing made simple, for kids and for players who just want to relax while healing.

KidsHeal is an addon for World of Warcraft: Legion (patch 7.3.5). Instead of keybinds and mouse-over macros, it puts your healing spells right next to the people you want to heal: one box per group member, with big clickable spell icons under every health bar.

Getting started

1. Install the addon
2. Assign a spell: click an empty "?" slot under a health bar, then cast the spell — it lands in that slot on every member's bar. Alternatively: /kidsheal set <slot> <spell name>
3. Heal: left-click an icon to cast that spell on that player. No targeting, no keys.

Features

• One box per group member (you + party + optional focus target) with class-colored health bars
• The same row of spell slots under every bar — assign once, use everywhere
• Active HoTs and shields with countdown timers right on the bars
• Cooldown sweeps on every box; icons dim when out of range or unusable
• Setup saved per character and per talent specialization — your healing spec and DPS spec keep their own bars
• Languages: English, Deutsch, Español (Latinoamérica) — auto-detected from your client, or chosen in the options; saved per WoW account
• Minimap button: left-click to show/hide the bars, right-click to open the options

Installing

1. Download the ZIP
2. Unzip it and rename the inner folder KidsHeal-main to KidsHeal
3. Move it to your WoW folder: Interface\AddOns\KidsHeal\
4. Make sure KidsHeal is enabled in your addon list

Commands

Command	Effect
/kidsheal set <slot> <spell>	Assign a spell by name (e.g. /kidsheal set 2 [Flash of Light])
/kidsheal clear <slot>	Remove the spell from a slot
/kidsheal reset	Reset the panel position to the top-left corner
/kidsheal pick <slot>	Assign the next spell you cast to a slot
/kidsheal options	Open the options panel
/kidsheal test	Fill bars with random values (layout check)
/kidsheal refresh	Rebuild the frames
/kidsheal debug	Toggle debug output

Tips & notes

• Removing a spell: options panel dropdown → — clear slot —, or /kidsheal clear <slot>
• Moving the panel: left-click and hold any health bar, then drag
• Spell assignment is disabled while in combat (Blizzard rule)
• Works with any client language — spells and items are stored by ID
• Not designed for large raids — it's for parties and relaxed healing
