How do I put a spell into a slot?

Two ways:

1. Click an empty "?" slot under (or next to) a health bar, then cast the spell — it lands in that slot on every member's bar.
2. /kidsheal set <slot> <spell name>, e.g. /kidsheal set 2 [Flash of Light]

Dragging a spell from the spellbook onto a slot does not work on this client.

How do I remove a spell from a slot?

Options panel: pick the slot in the dropdown, then choose — clear slot —. Or use /kidsheal clear <slot>.

Nothing happens when I click a "?" slot

Spell assignment is disabled while you are in combat (that's a Blizzard rule, not a bug). Leave combat and try again.

Can I have different spells on my healer and my DPS spec?

Yes — spells, slot assignments, and the number of icons are all saved per character and per specialization. Switching specs switches the setup automatically.

Why is the panel not showing?

• Left-click the minimap button — the panel can be hidden per character/spec and the button toggles it.
• If you moved it off-screen by accident: /kidsheal reset puts it back to the top-left corner.

Which languages are supported?

English, German, and Spanish (Latin America). By default the addon follows your WoW client language; you can override it in the options. The choice is saved per WoW account.

Does it work in raids?

Technically it runs, but it was designed for parties (you + 4 members + focus). Large raids are not what it's built for.

Does it work on other client languages (French, Russian, ...)?

Yes — spells and items are stored by ID, so the addon works with any client language. Only the addon's own texts are English, German, or Spanish.

Where are my settings stored?

In the WoW SavedVariables (KidsHeal.lua in your account's SavedVariables folder). Spell setup and layout are per character; the language is per WoW account.
