What is included

Downloads and installation

Bridge.ipa: iOS 18 or later, version 1.0.0, build 102. Unsigned Release build. Sign with your own Apple account using Sideloadly before installation. You cannot install it directly from Safari.

Bridge-android.apk: Android 12 or later, version 1.0.0, build 102. Signed and optimized Release build. Open it on your phone and allow installation from the download source if prompted.

This APK uses Bridge's release signing key. If an older copy was installed using a debug key, Android cannot update it in place. Keep a copy of any saved phrases before uninstalling the old app; uninstalling deletes its app data. Future APK updates must retain this release key.

SHA256SUMS: SHA-256 checksums for both downloads.

To get started, open Speak for me, choose Type, enter your message, and choose Speak my words. Choose your languages and text size in Settings.

Build and package checks

• The iOS Release build completed using the installed device SDK. The IPA contains version 1.0.0 build 102, its privacy manifest, and executable app code, with no test bundles or build logs.
• The Android signed Release build, release lint, code shrinking, and resource shrinking completed. APK signing and package metadata were checked.
• Source syntax, README file links, comment removal, whitespace, ignored signing files, and release checksums were reviewed.

No simulators, SDK platforms, or models were installed for these builds. Unit tests and physical-device checks were not rerun for this packaging pass. Microphone behavior, Personal Voice, explanations, head controls, and Android permissions still need checking on the device used.

Availability and privacy

Explanations require iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence, or a supported Android device with Gemini Nano. Language models and voices may need downloading. Key sentences work without a generative model.

The iPhone assistant stays inside Bridge. FaceTime and WhatsApp caption layouts are browser concepts, without connected calls or protected audio capture.

Bridge has no account, advertising, or Bridge-operated server. Platform services have their own technical data disclosures; see the privacy policy. The privacy contact is this repository's Issues page. Store distribution needs an accessible policy and contact, publisher signing, and completed store disclosures.
