v4.0 — Suno v6, Lyria 3.5, two Skills and a plugin
A rebuild against the vendors' own pages. Suno retired every model it had and shipped v6; Google replaced Lyria 3 Pro with Lyria 3.5 and rewrote its prompt guide. Twelve files, ~457 KB, the same menu and the same rules — now as a prompt, two Skills and a plugin for Claude.
Try it without installing anything — the Gem with everything loaded: SunoForge v4.0
What to download
| File | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
SunoForge_v4.0_Prompt.zip |
The prompt itself: the claude/ (XML) and gemini/ (Markdown) editions, docs, READMEs |
a Claude Project, a Gem, ChatGPT, Grok |
SunoForge_v4.0_Skills_for_Claude.zip |
The Skill for Claude: SKILL.md and the twelve files |
claude.ai → Customize → Skills → Upload a skill (Code execution on) |
SunoForge_v4.0_Skills_for_Gemini.zip |
The same Skill for Gemini, with the Markdown files | unpack, then Gemini → Skills → Upload → the sunoforge folder |
sunoforge.plugin |
The plugin for Claude as one file | Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload plugin (paid plans) |
The plugin also installs from this repository, which is its marketplace. In Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add sanic732/SunoForge
/plugin install sunoforge@sunoforge
In chat and Claude Desktop: Customize → Plugins → Add → Add marketplace → sanic732/SunoForge.
A Skill opens files per task. A Suno prompt reads three of the twelve — about 32,000 tokens instead of ~114,000 in a Project.
Language is automatic: SunoForge answers, menu included, in the language you write in; /set lang en or /set lang ru pins one. Prompts for the generators stay English, except Lyria, which sings in the language of the prompt.
Why this version exists
Between July and September 2026 the platforms moved further than in the half-year before:
- Suno shipped v6 on 9 September 2026 —
v6,v6-wild,v6-mini— and retired every earlier model. Rights now follow the download (terms in force from 3 September 2026). - Google replaced Lyria 3 Pro with Lyria 3.5 and published a new prompt guide on 17 September 2026.
- ElevenMusic moved to v2.5, MiniMax published Music 3.0 with open weights, and the Stable Audio 3.0 figures were corrected.
For the first time, rules moved too — all of them ones that name a platform:
| v3.0 taught | v4.0 |
|---|---|
| Lyria: tempo in words only | BPM and key as numbers — "at 92 BPM, in D minor" [OFFICIAL] |
Lyria: single [00:15] markers |
ranges with section names — [0:00 - 0:10] Intro: [OFFICIAL] |
| MAX MODE is folklore | the tags still are; Suno's real Max Mode is a separate switch in the Create form [OFFICIAL] |
What is new
- Suno v6. Max Mode and when it pays off; Variety (0 keeps your Style text as written); plain-language edits of a finished song, down to one line; covers, mashups, sampling; up to 8 minutes per generation; Studio 2.0; stem modes; download caps per plan.
- Lyria 3.5. Google's prompt order, vocal profiles, the
Lyrics:header, timestamp ranges, the Gemini app. - More platforms. ElevenMusic v2.5, Stable Audio 3.0 (6:20 is Medium), MiniMax Music 3.0 with open weights, ACE-Step 1.5 and YuE2 for local generation.
- Menu
[13]STEMS, STUDIO & MASTERING, and new sub-entries under[2]–[7]. The menu shows only what can be selected today; retired model names live in the repair table. - No prices anywhere. They differ by country and change without notice; a plan is named only where a feature or a right depends on it.
- Legal. GEMA v Suno (Munich, 31 July 2026), the second label suit, distributor and streaming policies, EU AI Act Article 50.
- Skills and a plugin — see above.
- Gems are becoming skills. Google moves Gems to skills from November 2026 and carries over only supported files. An archive is not among them, so a Gem that keeps
DATA.zipin its knowledge is likely to lose it — uploadSunoForge_v4.0_Skills_for_Gemini.ziprather than waiting.
Compatibility
Menu numbers [1]–[12] are unchanged; [13] is added at the tail. Old prompts keep working — run them through [12]: the repair table knows retired Suno models, Lyria 3 Pro figures, single-point markers, prices, and a Style that Variety would rewrite.
Verification
- Every platform fact rechecked against the vendor's own page — help centres, terms, API docs, a court press release — and each page kept as text.
- A separate fact-checking pass: 38 notes. The critical and medium ones are fixed (13), including one inherited from v3.0 — Suno's lyrics editor does not place section labels by itself, you do. The minor notes are queued for the next data refresh.
- A prompt audit against current Claude models: nine fixes — version history and "now" phrasing out of the rule files, one setting nothing read removed.
- Twelve build invariants checked mechanically; the plugin and the marketplace pass
claude plugin validate. - Live runs: Claude Code with the plugin loaded wrote a Suno blueprint with Variety 0, a Max Mode call and confidence marks; the Gemini Skill, once uploaded, opened the full menu from its own files.
Earlier versions
v3.0 (July 2026) stays on the releases page.
Built with P2P, an open cross-model meta-prompt framework by the same author.
