Buzz! Messenger v0.1.0

macOS users: Use v0.1.2 or newer. It fixes the invalid signature in v0.1.0 and shows the main window before Keychain access, which could otherwise leave the app running without a window. macOS preview builds remain ad-hoc signed and not notarized.

First desktop preview of Buzz! Messenger, bringing the Yahoo! Messenger experience to Facebook Messenger.

Choose the installer for your computer. Node.js, npm, and source builds are not required.

Every filename starts with buzz-messenger-<version>-. Checksums are included in SHA256SUMS.txt.

On macOS, open the DMG and drag the app to Applications, or unzip the ZIP. On Windows, run the setup file or launch the portable executable. On Linux, make the AppImage executable before opening it, or install the DEB with your package manager. Linux needs an available OS key store for the encrypted vault.

These initial builds are unsigned; macOS builds are not notarized. Your operating system may show a warning or block opening them. The app is under development: all four platform packages were built in CI, but real-account Messenger use has only been recorded on macOS so far.
