v0.2.0
Store your AutoDL developer token in the operating system's credential store and configure it through a hidden terminal prompt.
Changes
autodl config set-tokennow saves tokens in Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain, or Linux Secret Service by default.- Interactive token entry is hidden. Redirected input remains supported.
- Keyring failures never silently fall back to plaintext files.
- An explicit
--config PATHselects plaintext file storage for environments that need it. - Added credential-source and keyring-failure tests and documented source-based acceptance checks.
Upgrade from v0.1.0
The old default plaintext config is no longer read automatically. Run autodl config set-token again to save your token in the system keyring. After checking autodl account balance, remove the old plaintext file if you no longer need it. Alternatively, pass its path explicitly with --config.
Token precedence is --token, then AUTODL_TOKEN, then the system keyring (or the explicitly selected config file). Linux headless sessions without Secret Service can use AUTODL_TOKEN.
Validation and downloads
Local race tests, go vet, and six-platform builds passed. Windows Credential Manager passed an isolated write/read/delete check. Source-based live API acceptance passed for balance, instance list, image list, and JSON output; no billable resources were created.
This release uses the shared test/build workflow and uploads its existing archives without rebuilding in the publish job. Download an archive for Linux, macOS, or Windows (amd64/arm64), and verify its SHA-256 against checksums.txt.
