What's Changed

Context logger and several other improvements:

  • Fixing PinLatestV1 to recognize a patch version of 0.
  • AppBuild improvements:
    • Allowing access to the AppBuild generated Build for additional customization.
    • Allowing access (and overrides) to AppBuild's build and distribution root paths. These values can be overridden by environment variables (MODMAKE_BUILD and MODMAKE_DIST), or in a build by mutating the variables directly.
  • Adding Logger that is propagated through the Context.
    • Added a LogContextError that includes the step name and logging group.
  • Task improvements:
    • Adding Once method to prevent repeated executions.
    • Adding LogGroup method to create a Task that sets a log group and wraps returned errors in a LogContextError.
    • Adding Logger propagation throughout several tasks.
  • Added LeadingArg and TrailingArg as methods to Command to provide a means to order arguments.
  • Changing modmake help output for clarity.
  • Added CgoEnabled method to GoBuild to allow easily specifying CGO_ENABLED in that context.

Warning

The previously deprecated PinLatest function has been removed.
Step.Debounce has been deprecated, since it doesn't make sense in the context of a Runnable that is only intended to be executed once. This will be removed in the future.
