First release

  • Scan text on screen with OCR, and lookup in the QAM (quick access menu)
  • Tokenizer and dictionary power the lookup section, with dictionary entires from Jitendex
  • Create and manage multiple text capture areas, with a visual interface to create and manage them
  • Save words locally and send to your phone via QR code to your Anki app (AnkiMobile / AnkiDroid) for later study

Install

On your Steam Deck, download the japanese-lookup-v0.3.1.zip file below and save to Downloads. Use Install Plugin from ZIP file in the Developer tab in the Decky plugin.
