Changes

  • STT and TTS are now optional add-ons — base install is ~119MB instead of ~535MB
    • sudo aside enable-stt — installs faster-whisper (~100MB)
    • sudo aside enable-tts — installs piper-tts (~60MB voice model)
    • sudo aside disable-stt / sudo aside disable-tts to remove
  • PKGBUILD uses system packages for heavy litellm dependencies (tiktoken, openai, pydantic, aiohttp, httpx)
  • Daemon gracefully handles missing STT/TTS with clear error messages
