Right now the set up steps don't mention a security certificate at all, but this is something that CloudFront apparently asks for. If you're using AWS ACM you can create the CNAME and generate the certificate beforehand. When you get to Choose certificate choose the one you just made (if you're using ACM) or upload the certificate if you're using an alternate certificate system.
Probably should be a fourth (optional), item in the set up prereqs.
