CLI 0.45 adds command-line and MCP access to Wi-Fi mesh, OBS streaming, cloud gaming, data packs, hotspot throttling, router/device usage, local-network and smart-home reports. It also adds offline process and host explanations, rule-decision explanations, DNS fallback controls and history clearing.

Process and host dictionary lookups include their data in the standalone CLI package. App-backed reports depend on the features supported by the installed Kilobat app and the history it has recorded. The CLI can be updated while the corresponding app updates are still rolling out.

MCP exposes 85 tools with strict argument schemas and confirmation requirements for changes. The source package includes the offline country, network-owner, device-maker and process/host lookup data required by these features.

• kilobat portal [--json] checks for a hotel, café or airport Wi-Fi sign-in page: whether one is in the way now, its address (query values hidden in JSON), how long sign-ins usually last on this network and the time left.

• The diagnosis says when a sign-in page logged you out, instead of calling the internet down.

• kilobat vpn leaks [--json] checks whether DNS lookups, IPv6 or UDP traffic go around your VPN, and names the setting to fix. It exits 1 when something leaks. It asks bash.ws, Cloudflare's STUN server and api6.ipify.org.
• kilobat vpn and kilobat conditions show the kill switch's state; kilobat settings kill-switch on|off and kill-switch-lan on|off change it (the kill switch itself is part of the Kilobat app).

• kilobat games --game <game> pings each of that game's data centers five times and names the closest; --all pings every game; --match finds and pings the server of the match you're playing, for any game.

• kilobat devices marks each device on your network as new, known, unknown or ignored, with its maker, friendly name, and first and last seen. --all adds devices that aren't here right now.
• kilobat devices name <MAC> <name> names a device; kilobat devices mark <MAC> mine|unknown|ignored answers for it, as the app's new-device alert does.
• MCP: list_devices returns the same fields and takes all.
• Call reports can name the device that was busy during a freeze, and calls in Dia are noticed.

• kilobat starlink [--hours 1…720] [--json]: your Starlink dish's state, ground-station ping and loss, alerts, how much of the sky is obstructed and in which direction, and outages split into your setup (obstructions), Starlink's network and dish restarts. Read-only: it never changes the dish.
• MCP: get_starlink_status.
• kilobat support-report includes the dish's outage log on Starlink.
• The stutter test says when spikes line up with Starlink's satellite handovers, every 15 seconds.
