v3.6.0 — waitForNetworkIdle / waitForResponse
waitForNetworkIdle() / waitForResponse(urlPattern)
WaitEngine.waitForNetworkIdle() waits until no network request has been in flight for a quiet period (default 500ms, or a custom Duration), bounded by the configured explicit timeout.
WaitEngine.waitForResponse(urlPattern) waits for a response whose URL matches a glob pattern (same syntax as NetworkMock.stub) and returns its HTTP status code.
Both work on Chrome/Edge (via CDP) and any BiDi-capable browser such as Firefox, and throw UnsupportedOperationException on others. Firefox sessions now request a BiDi connection by default, so this works with zero extra configuration.
Also in this release
- open() now names execution.baseUrl when the site is unreachable or the key is missing (#84)
- Gradle projects report under build/; docs no longer copy every JVM property (#81, #82)
Verification
547/547 unit tests green. waitForNetworkIdle/waitForResponse verified end-to-end against real Chrome and real Firefox via the consumer test suite before merge.
