Shop Configuration

Shop Configuration

The playground has no config file and no environment variables. Like every Selldone storefront, it is configured with <meta> tags in the <head> of index.html. Selldone Core and the Storefront SDK read these tags when SelldoneCore.Setup() and StorefrontSDK.Setup() run.

Shop tags

Meta tag name Value in the playground Read by Purpose
shop-name toysworld StorefrontSDK.Setup() Required. The shop to load. Setup throws "The shop name is not specified in the meta tag with the name 'shop-name'." if it is missing.
shop-prefix-address (empty) StorefrontSDK.Setup() The app's path prefix, for example /my-shop-path. Defaults to an empty string.
custom-home shop StorefrontSDK.Setup() Custom home page of the shop. Values of the Shop.Home enum: blog, avocado, hyper, community, shop, map, landing_page.

Business OS tags

Meta tag name Value in the playground Purpose
service-url https://selldone.com Main service origin. Selldone Core throws if it is missing when the service URL is needed.
selldone-gapi https://gapi.selldone.com Global API used by Selldone Core (GAPI).
selldone-xapi https://xapi.selldone.com Storefront API used by the Storefront SDK (XAPI).
selldone-iframe https://iframe.selldone.com Iframe service origin.
selldone-capi https://capi.selldone.com Community API (used by the Community SDK).

CDN and storage tags

Meta tag name Value in the playground
selldone-cdn-images https://selldone.com/cdn-shop-images-1
selldone-cdn-jsons https://selldone.com/cdn-shop-jsons-1
selldone-cdn-videos https://selldone.com/cdn-videos
selldone-cdn-temp-files https://selldone.com/cdn-shop-temp-files
selldone-cdn-ar https://selldone.com/cdn-ar
selldone-cdn-id https://selldone.com/cdn-id
storage-redirect true — get files directly from cloud storage
storage-redirect-host https://cdn.selldone.com
storage-redirect-thumbnails true — also for thumbnails

These values are used by window.CDN helpers such as GET_SHOP_IMAGE_PATH(path, size, random_fill) to build image URLs.

Passing the shop name in code

StorefrontSDK.Setup() also accepts the shop name as its first argument, which takes precedence over the meta tag:

StorefrontSDK.Setup("toysworld");

Keep the shop-name meta tag anyway: other parts of the SDK, such as its Axios setup, read it directly.
