A lane whose pack was removed in Settings can be switched on again, the
credential scan refuses a connection-string password spelled in letters
only, and reports format byte counts as the portal does. Every store rescans
once on its next run. No store format change and no CLI or MCP change.
Fixed
- A lane whose pack was removed could not be switched on again. Removing
the Neural Engine pack in Settings › Performance left the lane "failed —
reading …/manifest.json" with its switch disabled, so the only way back was
semlith accel on anein a terminal, although the Remove dialog promises
that turning it on downloads it again. A lane that is switched off is no
longer kept as failed, Remove lets the lane's worker go and leaves it idle,
and the row reads "off — needs a 148 MB download" with a switch that asks
to download and turn on. - A connection-string password spelled in letters only was indexed.
postgres://app:<24 mixed-case letters>@…read as a camelCase name, so the
scan let it in: 8 of 3,000,000 forged connection strings on 0.51.1, and the
cause of an intermittent failure of the scan calibration test. In a
connection string's password slot such a value is the password, and it is
refused; placeholders stay dummies. The scan rules move to version 5, so
every store rescans once and embeds nothing again. - Reports and the portal format byte counts alike, including 1000-1023 bytes,
negative counts and exact rounding ties in binary units. Thanks @codekongdev
(#301).
Added
- CI approves the maintainer's own pull requests once every job has passed,
and a scheduled workflow labels outside contributors' pull requests (type,
language, first-time contributor, waiting on review). - Every release credits its contributors: the notes end with a Contributors
section, and each outside contributor's pull request and reported issue gets
a comment naming the release it shipped in.
