What's new

  • Added a right-sizing view (u) that compares each workload's CPU and memory requests with its peak usage, flags under- and over-provisioned workloads, and suggests requests capped at the container limits.
  • Added a diagnosis panel in pod detail that explains why a pod is unhealthy, with a likely cause and the next read-only kubectl command for each finding; the MCP explain_pod tool returns the same findings.
  • Added an incident timeline (t) that correlates events, restarts, OOM kills, node conditions and rollouts, and highlights the likely trigger.
  • Added a headless JSON API (cluster status|incidents|pods|nodes --json, cluster logs) and a read-only MCP server (cluster mcp) for AI agents.
  • Added native sidecar support: sidecars are listed, selectable in logs, and counted in restarts, readiness, crash loops, OOM detection and resource totals.
  • Improved accessibility: a help screen (?) in every view, a no-color mode (--no-color or NO_COLOR), status markers that don't rely on color, and colors that stay readable on light terminal themes.

Fixes

  • Scheduler events such as FailedScheduling are no longer dropped, and warnings stay ahead of routine events.
  • Pod detail columns no longer run together, and the logs panel stays visible on short terminals.
  • kubectl ignores the user's kuberc so its output is parsed reliably.
  • cluster logs -n selects the namespace, MCP list_contexts works, and install.sh honors INSTALL_DIR.

Security

  • Updated rustls to 0.23.46 (RUSTSEC-2026-0348, RUSTSEC-2026-0349).

Maintenance

  • Raised the minimum supported Rust version to 1.85 (edition 2024) and updated dependencies.
